 Chapter 1: Faith

"It's just a dare," my friend, Ivy, said. "And it's not like you'll ever see them again."

Both of us were in the park and we just started to play Truth or Dare. It was my last day before I'll move to the United States of America. I'm really going to miss London.

I frowned. "But I made yours easy!" I complained.

"I never said I was going to make yours easy," she said waggling her eyebrows. "Be happy I didn't make you snog a stranger."

I opened my mouth to protest but she cut me off, flicking her long blonde hair over her shoulder. "I did my dare so it's your turn."

"But - "

She stared pointedly at me with her brown eyes. "You're being complicated, Faith."

"But - " I said again.

"No buts," she shoved me towards the couple. "Now just bloody go already!"

I didn't want to do it. It was a mean thing to do, I admit. And I wasn't a mean person.

I sighed knowing there was no way I could change Ivy's mind. I started to walk to the teenage couple, they were hugging now.

I gulped. It's not like you'll ever see them again, Ivy's words repeated in my head. She had a point there. With all my might, I pushed the couple apart. I faced the boy and burst out crying. My acting skills weren't bloody bad.

"I can't believe you!" I wailed.

"What?" He exclaimed with some accent I wasn't familiar with. Thats good, I thought. Less chances of seeing him again. I snuck a peek at his face and he was quite the lad. Light brown hair with hazel eyes that had specks of green in it. I think he looked quite adorable with his head tilted to the side, and a look of utter confusion on his face.

Sadly, I had to slap that beautiful face.

I slapped him as hard as I can. It's not everyday that I get to slap someone, and call me evil but I kinda enjoyed it. He slowly lifted his face and held his left cheek. "What the hell was that for?" he yelled.

"You told me you loved me, lured me to bed, and then shagged me!" I shrieked, making my voice purposely crack. "Then you told me you'd call me but you never did! You flippin' bastard!"

Then I stormed off without another glance, and met up with a laughing Ivy.

"That was priceless!" she said through her fits of laughter.

"That was bloody mean!" I retorted.

She pointed at them, "Look!" I turned my head and looked at the couple, guilt started to overwhelm me. "They're beating the shit out of each other."

I watched as the couple argued. The girl was red with anger as they yelled at each other. Then she pulled something of her neck, dropped it on the ground, said something, and walked away.

Ohmygod. I broke them up.
