Normal Is Overrated

Chapter 4

Oh shit! this cant be happening! I mean come on! what are the chances that I would actually meet my mate here out of everywhere in the world! Oh crap crap crap! Do I even want this?! 

I took in a deep breath and prepared myself mentally to look at him, as I looked up I couldn't help but gasp as I took in his blue eyes and sexy disheveled hair. I mean can you say HOT?! He was also incredibly tall, well over 6 ft which is great considering my short height, I'm pretty sure I look more of a elf then anything standing next to him!

"Mine," I heard him whisper as he looked into my eyes with a look pure awe as he took me in. I know I'm pretty but the was he was looking at me made me feel I was Angelina Jolie or something!

He grasped me by the shoulders and pulled me into his arms, i couldn't help but notice how everything around us faded into nothing, how nothing else mattered but this amazing and wonderful creature that was holding me in his arms. As I sniffed his scent that reminded me of the forest I immediately knew that I did in fact want this, I want every single thing this person could give me.

I took in a deep breath and said the words that would seal my part of the mate bond "I accept you as my other half, as the mate of my soul." I whispered as I pulled away and looked into his eyes as he stared into my eyes and said the exact same thing.

As the world came back into focus I looked at Jess who was looking at us in a dumbstruck way, it would have been rather funny if I wasn't preoccupied with something much more important. 'Ill catch up with you later" I said to her, she nodded and scurried of without a word.

I took a deep breath and looked back at my mate. "I'm Rose," I said shyly as I avoided his eyes.  He chuckeled and said in a voice so husky the it sent shivers down my spine "I'm Alexander, but you can just call me Alec. Come on lets get out of here." He grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the school and into the forest behind him.

He was silent as we walked and it was driving me mad! " aren't you gonna say something?" I asked, I mean come on its been 15 minutes without so much as a sigh and I'm starting to get nervous, what if he decided he didn't want me anymore? Would I be able to survive that? I'm pretty sure the answer would be no, even though I've known him for a very short amount of time i already know I wont be able to live without him.
