18. Allah is Al-Fattah The Opener,  The Revealer,  The Granter of Success

The One by whose guidance that which was closed is opened and the unclear is made clear. The One who lifts veils and who opens the heart.

The One who unties the knots, and softens that which was hardened. The One who continually offers goodness and mercy.

H&Q-36

1. "O my son establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong and be patient over what befalls you indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination."

[Al Quran 31:17]

2. Always be there for them so they too will be there for you inshaAllah.

Spending time with children is more important than spending money on them.

3. Children have never been very good at listening to their elders,but they never failed to imitate them.

4. We should train our children to go to the masjid regularly to establish love of the masjid (mosque) in their hearts. The Prophet (pbuh) and his companions used to take children to the mosques.

5. Those who fear Allah, do righteous deeds without seeking the admiration and praise of others. In fact, they will try to do good deeds without anyone knowing who did them.

6. One cannot truly be a good Muslim unless he treats his parents and elders with respect by obeying them and speaking to them nicely. This applies even when one’s parents are disbelievers. There are however, limits to obedience which have been set by Allah. If parents ask their children to disobey Allah, the children should not obey them.

7. Allah is the one with whom I can talk about everything!

8. Content yourself with what Allah made sufficient for you. Indeed Allah knows the best of everything.

9. 'Oh Allah! You gave me a heart, now fill it with meaning and do not leave it heartless!' Ameen.

10. You don't know the circumstance of a person unless you walk in their shoes. You may have better than what they do. Appreciate. Alhamdu lillah he rabbil A'alameen.

11. Don't let your lips and your lives preach two different messages.

12. How foolish is man! He ruins the present while worrying about the future, but weeps in the future by recalling his past! ~ Ali Ibn Abi Talib

13. The closer you are to Allah, the closer you are to happiness.

14. The biggest celebrities on the day of judgment will be those who had the most taqwa (piety), no matter how unknown they were in this life.

15. “There was a merchant who would lend to the people, and whenever his debtor was in difficult circumstances, he would say to his employees, ‘Forgive him so that God may forgive us.’ So, God forgave him.”[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Hadith 292]

16. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “On the Day of Resurrection I will intercede and say, ‘O my Lord! Admit into Paradise (even) those who have faith equal to a mustard seed in their hearts." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Hadith 600]

17. A funeral procession once passed in front of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and he stood up out of respect. When he was told the person in the coffin was Jewish and not Muslim, he said: “Was it not a living (soul)?”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 399]

18. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Allah has forbidden you to be undutiful to your mothers, to withhold (what you should give) or demand (what you do not deserve), or to bury your daughters alive (a pre-Islamic practice).”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith 8:6]

19. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “A believing man should not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another.”

[Sahih Muslim, Hadith 705]

20. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “(Each one) of you should save himself from the fire by giving even half of a date (in charity). And if you do not find a half date, then (you can do it through saying) a pleasant word (to your brethren).”

[Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 394]
