Chapter 18 - Don't wake me up

Where am I?

What’s happened?

My breathing quickened now as I knew I was becoming awake. A throbbing started back in my shoulder. The memories rushed back after the throbbing, almost like the throbbing was a trigger. Then I remembered what happened and I jumped in the air and landed looking at the bed I was in. The covers lay on the ground around me, I got chills so I looked down and noticed I was naked so I grabbed the cover and held it around me, they were a deep red, the colour of blood and they were made of pure silk. I held the beautiful cover around me and looked around me.

The room had five walls; one was small and slanted for the door at the foot of the bed I was standing beside. To my left was a space with a spotless wooden floor with a desk, window, radiator and a glide wardrobe attached to the wall which had two large mirrors covering the door, around me was walls covered in poster’s of bands I would listen to and beside me was the bed I lay on, it was queen sized and had bars making trees framing it, it was beautiful.

I walked towards the glide robe and slid it open, inside was all black, literally, I grabbed a pair of high waist jeans my size and a Skillet band T-shirt. I then grabbed the undergarments that were on the desk, someone must have left them out for me, I made sure the door was locked and the blinds were closed when I dropped the beautiful cover and quickly slicked on the clothing.

Once I was done, I walked to the door; I breathed in deeply and brought out my wolf senses so I could be prepared to fight. I unlocked the door and my bare feet helped me silently creep out of the bedroom, I could hear three hearts beating down stairs, they knew I was up and were waiting for me...

I walked down the hall and turned down the grey, carped covered stairs. My bare feet elegantly glided down them as I passed the bear cream walls. I stopped in the hall, one window and a door with patterned glass were the only indications of light, and all the other doors were wooden making me feel trapped and blind from potential threats. I landed on the black marble floor and I walked to the room where the hearts were beating and the breathing was normal, I knew they knew I was there and running was not an option for there was three of them and one of me.

I closed my eyes, breathed in deeply and turned the silver handle into the room.  I walked inside and the room had no windows, only a circle light above lit up the room to show me the white walls and the three stern faces of teenage wolves sitting on the end of a square wooden table looking at me. I took the vacant seat opposite them and looked at them all back emotionless, I would not show any fear towards them.

I examined all three of them, two of them were boys and one was a girl.

The girl had strawberry hair falling in loose curls to her waist, big deep green eyes and beautiful milk skin. She had a beautiful matured face, high cheek bones and she was very thin. A white button up blouse was on her and she had her arms crossed in the middle of the two boys. She raised her delicate light brown eye brow at me, a silent order for me to explain myself.

I smirked and said, “What do you want to know dear leprechaun?” One of the boys chuckled beside her; she turned to him and sent a cold glare at him. He shut up instantly.  She then looked at me with those cold captivating eyes and her steel voice came out, “Funny, but I want to know why your here and why you brought hunters with you to our territory”. I sighed, and answered her, “I am running away from people I trusted and loved who broke me, from a past that haunts me. Hunters spotted me so I started to run in the opposite direction. I didn’t know there was pack territory here and I didn’t know I was putting anyone in danger, I am truly sorry. I just want to pass on through here without causing any trouble”. She sighed and said, “We can’t let you leave, I’m sorry but you know our location and you might be brain washed and set up by the hunters, as you can see we took the bullet out of your shoulder so your wolf could heal you but now we must run tests on you. Also you are our moon goddess; it is our duty to protect you, especially if it wasn’t for our pack doctor Andrew, you would’ve died”.

I stood up with general fear in my eyes and my voice quickly asked, “How did you know?” A boy sitting beside the girl who I still did not know the name of then answered. He had red eyes, white hair and very pale skin, even paler than the girl. “Your wolf was the first indication, the fact Laura over here is of Royal decent, she has felt the power of the royals and she said you gave off more power than them and Julia who is currently doing runs likes reading the old scriptures and knew of the prophecy of the moon Goddess returning to us”, the male answered with a smile on his face.

I stood up and looked at the three and turned around and said, “I’m leaving, I want to be alone, a rogue”.  I looked over my shoulder and the third person, who was the guy who didn’t speak to me, stood up and started advancing towards me. I saw now he was much taller than me and well built, he had cold blue eyes and dark short black hair pushed back, he was quite attractive. I turned, this was my only chance to escape, to be alone so I couldn’t get attached again, my parents and Noel showed me a very important lesson that no one stays forever.

Before I could turn the handle I was pushed up against a wall and my hands were held behind my back, I let out a groan and hot breath kissed my neck as he whispered in his low gruff voice, “Sweetie, you’re not going anywhere. I’ll tie you up to make sure you don’t”. I chuckled thinking it I was being smart and retorted, “Maybe I’d like it if you tied me up”. He growled, grabbed both my hands and sat me back down on the seat. He then whispered in my ear, “that can be arranged my dear”.

With that he stood at the door and looked at me with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and looked at the girl I now know as Laura. “So”, I remarked, “What’s the two boys names and what exactly are we meant to be doing now since you have told me your plan for me?” Laura got up and started walking towards the door, “Well me and Simon, the blond one are away to find Julia, Matthew and Ross while you stay here. Jake here will keep an eye on you and interrogate you until we get back", with that Laura and Simon left the room leaving me alone with Jake.

How am I going to escape now?
