A/N - First off, please, please, please, check out OliverHart s book 'Soulmates in the Dark' - so far it only has one chapter, but I believe it has the potentional to be an awesome, sucessful book!
Secondly, in the next chapter you will see Ross, I looked through over thirty different guys and only chose ten, but knocked down three since I found that they looked too young for Rosalie (Lyndsy Fonseca) - there is a slideshow on the right, so please take a look and place your vote. The one with the most votes will be Ross.
No Proofreading and sorry for ALL my short chapters, really need to learn how to do long ones.
Chapter Twenty Seven
I shivered under the fresh air and instantly regretted the clothes I was wearing, the temperature, in comparison to Australia, was fresher, causing goose bumps and my hairs to stand up.
After the disturbing phone call in the taxi I couldn’t think straight.
“You cold?” ask Vincent, who finished paying the taxi fare.
I nodded in response. Vincent shrugged his jacket of and placed it on my shoulders welcoming the soft material and his scent.
He grabbed my hand, whilst the other took care of his suitcase, and mine on my other hand.
Once we arrived to our apartment I threw myself in the couch and left out a sigh.
Vincent chuckled, his face clearly amused.
“What?” I mumbled.
“Nothing,” he smirked, before walking to his bedroom.
Sitting up I grabbed my phone and checked the time.
Just less than six hours until my meeting in Hyde Park with an unknown stranger.
I felt panic, worry, dread, bubbling inside me.
What if something happened?
I shuddered at the thought.
I bit my lip and sat straight, staring blankly at the wall, trying to process my plan.
Should I call for backup?
“Meet me at ten at Hyde Park, alone.”
He clearly emphasised the word alone with meaning. I couldn’t call for backup, or tell anyone. There will be more chance of risks occurring.
“Rose,” said a voice.
“Um…yeah?” I stuttered, blinking rapidly to stop the tears from falling, I bit my lip which was starting to quiver slightly.
“Are you okay Rose? You look worried,” said Vincent.
I just stared at him.
What if I never saw him again?
What if this was my last six hours with me and I was never to see him again.
I gazed at him, to his lustrous, scruffy, dark brown hair, his dark, blue eyes, his Greek nose, lush lips, his amazing body.
The tears started falling from my face. Quickly, I rubbed them off with the back of my palm.
Vincent kneeled down in front of me and placed his hands on my cheek.
“Rose, babe, what is it? Is something wrong?” he asked, his expression filled with concern.
I hugged him tightly and kissed him with hunger, desire, lust and love.
“Rosalie,” he gasped.
“Please Vincent,” I mumbled, slipping of my coral tank top and kissing him again.
He just nodded and I tightened my grip on him.
“Mum? Dad? I’m home,” I grinned, grabbing my suitcase and emerging from the entrance. I was greeted by Chablis, my golden retriever, leaping on top of me and mum and dad hugging me tightly.
“Can’t breathe,” I gasped giggling.
“Oh honey, you look so tanned. Did you have a good time?” smiled my mother.
“Yeah, it was amazing.”
Well most of it anyways.
“That’s wonderful, now go and get your stuff packed and then help me with dinner sweetie, okay?”
I nodded and quickly went upstairs.
“God, I’ve missed your food so much mum, thank you,” I smiled.
I quickly looked at the time, it was just past nine.
“Well, I’m going to bed, I’m exhausted and I still need to get used to this time zone,” I yawned, cleaning my plate.
