There was a few seconds in which no one spoke, everyone either in shock or trying not to laugh at how unbelievable the situation was. With a sigh, I made my way to the other sofa and dropped down into the empty seat between Ellie and Laura before relaxing back as the title scene started up.

Chapter 5

Liam's Point Of View

"I-I just can't-" Jade was in floods of tears, her eyes red, puffy and glazed over as she stared straight ahead at the white credits that were rolling across the blacked out screen almost eerily. Her fists were clenched making them look tiny and dainty next to her figure, the pillow that was clasped between her so mottled and misshapen that it was quite humorous. She seemed unable to tear her gaze from the screen, as if she couldn't believe that had happened in the film, just like the majority of other people out there.

"I've seen so many sad films but that was just depressing!" She whined her voice breaking slightly as she hiccupped. Louis leaned over, throwing an arm around her shoulder while he brought her shaking body into his chest; Louis' eyes were also rimmed with the line of tears as he ran a comforting hand up and down Jade's side.

His t-shirt was soon wet with her stray tears but she seemed unable to stop and, judging from how the others were acting, we were all in various states of tears. I, myself, wasn't much of a crier and only a few stray tears were creeping down my cheek but they were soon discarded with a single swipe of my hand.

I got to my feet slowly, careful not to knock Louis and Jade who were now both in renewed cries of tears. Looking around the others, I noticed that Ellie seemed to be the one who had come out with the least tears. Her face was pale meaning that she had shed a few tears but her eyes weren't puffy and there wasn't a single tear running down her face, thinking about it I hadn't heard a single peep out of her throughout the whole film which was a bit weird considering it was her first time watching it and should have been her saddest.

Laura and Harry were whispering to each other, laughing at each other occasionally as they shot glances across the room and Niall was absorbed in his phone, texting rapidly as his fingers danced easily across the keys. Zayn was leaning back in his seat; his eyes squeezed shut as he appeared to be battling the threat of sleep that was attempting to overcome him.

"Are you okay?" Ellie called to Jade and, without waiting for an answer, she got to her feet, pulling a tissue out of her pocket as she did so and passing it to Jade. Immediately Jade was rubbing her eyes with it and blowing her nose with it before jumping to her feet and leaving the room, seemingly in search of a bin.

"So what do we do now?" Niall voiced. His phone was gone now, probably in his pockets somewhere, and he was staring up at Ellie and me expectantly, almost as if we were the ones in charge which we sort of were; I was Daddy Direction, unfortunately, and she seemed to be the sanest out of the three girls leaving her in charge of them.

"I think we should-" Ellie started before she was cut off suddenly, her mouth falling wide while she let out a yawn, her hand instantly clapping over it as her eyes flickered shut for a few seconds. Laura burst into a fit of laughter and I just shook my head slowly. "I think we should sleep." Ellie said eventually.

Instantly a loud noise of complaints started up, mainly Laura and Harry who were saying that they should be allowed to stay up as late as they want because it was their holidays. So we had one night off from the concerts and now, suddenly, Harry wanted to stay up late? He was going to be so tired tomorrow night.

"Please be quiet!" I interrupted, my voice raising to cut over the rest of them. "I think Ellie's right; it's practically midnight so I think we should all get some sleep especially as we have a concert tomorrow night."

"But I don't want to do another concert!" Niall moaned.

"I'm not tired!"

"Our fans need twit cams!"

"I need to feed my llama!"

"I- Wait, what?"

Laura shrugged casually just as Jade came back into the room. "My pet llama needs feeding." Laura said simply and Jade stopped for a few seconds, raising her eyes at the girl with a weird expression spread across her face before she brushed it off and made her way to the sofa where she collapsed down next to Louis again.
