I made a trailer for the story. Its on the side. Check it out and let me know what you think.

The mall was filled with last minute shoppers as the holiday seasons approached. The crowded lines and impatient children filled Deva's eyes as she scanned for her best friend Julia. She had once again managed to arrive late even though she left the house ten minutes earlier then she normally would. She spotted Julia at the far table in the tiny Starbucks shop. The smell of coffee quickly greeted her nose as she sat down in front of her best friend. Julia's face revealed her annoyance. Her dark brown hair was thrown into a messy bun and her tan skin seemed flawless as her radiant dark eyes concealed her disappointment.

"I'm sorry Julia. I got stuck in traffic, honestly." Deva tried to explain.

"Yeah, yeah you're always stuck in traffic. Are you ever on time? Cause you were even late for your own graduation."

Deva laughed. "Hey, I couldn't help it. It was raining that day and I wasn't even driving so blame my brother."

"Right." Julia rolled her eyes in exaggeration.

"You forgive me?"

Julia looked over to her dear friend. Deva's hazel dark eyes were pleading and her pouty plump lips were quivering like a lost puppy's. Julia wanted to laugh but held it in instead. Deva finally smoothed her face to normal and pulled back her long dark shinny brown hair into a bun and let out a sigh.

"Fine, then I guess you won't get your gift now."

"Hey that's not fair. You can't always bribe me, you know?"

A beautiful smirk crossed her pink lips. "Are you sure about that?"

"No," Julia quickly replied lifting her hands to Deva. "Give me."

Deva burst out into laughter. "Good thing I brought it with me." She pulled out a tiny blue box and handed it to Julia. She practically ripped it out of her hands.
Julia unwrapped it with haste and lifted the top to reveal a tiny silver bracelet with a small snowflake pendant hanging from it. Julia's lips curved into a smile and she looked up at Deva with warm eyes.

"Thank you Dev. It's beautiful. It's exactly the one I wanted."

"Good cause it took me awhile to find it."
