    "You know, I've always wanted to ask you this."

    I looked over at Gia who was licking off of the white cream off of the Oreo in her hand.

    "What?" I asked.

    "Have you ever been bothered by your sister and Jace hanging out recently?"

    "No! Why?" I retorted.

    "Just curious. I mean, if I saw my own twin sister flirt with a good looking guy who used to be my middle school bully, I'd be jealous and pissed off."

    "You don't have a twin sister."

    "It's a 'what if' story, Av." she said as she took a bite out of her Oreo.

    "I'm not bothered. Not even one bit."

    "Sure, you're not." she said, sarcastically.

    "I swear to God, Gia!"

    "Whatever you say..."

    I scowled and leaned into the couch. I took an Oreo from the package and took a bite out of it in disappointment.

    "So, have anyone asked you out for the dance yet?" Gia asked.

    "Yeah."

    "Oh my God! Who?!"

    "Elliot..."

    "Elliot Greene?! That hot guy I always see Jace hanging out with?"

    "And since you mentioned Jace, he apparently kind of asked me too."

    "What?"

    "Well, it's kind of a long story..."

    "Tell me."

    I sighed, "Well, it all started off on Thursday. I was talking to Elliot in the hallway about the upcoming Halloween dance. Since we were talking about it, he asked me to go with him. I thought at first that we were going together, just the two of us. But I was wrong. He actually asked me if I could go with him and with my sister. So, I had no idea why I said this but I accepted his offer. Then, he said that I won't be his third wheel because he wouldn't do anything like that to a girl. Feeling a little better, I was like 'Yeah, sure'. After school, I was over at Jace's place because he offered me to come over since his mom was dying to see me again. We were outside, tossing a football at eachother and we were both quiet and you know how awkward it can get. So, I accidentally brought up the Halloween dance and he asked me if I was going with anyone. I told him that I was going with Elliot and Arabella and he said that I'll most likely end up being the third wheel. I told him that Elliot would never do that to me and he said that I'll never know what's going to happen which made me feel really suspicious about him and confused. Then, out of nowhere, he asks me if he could come to the dance with me. He wants to know if I end up being the third wheel and prove me wrong about Elliot being a really sweet guy...so, yeah."

    Gia looks at me in surprise but then, a smile slowly inched on her face.

    "You are such a whore!"

    I stared at her, "What?"

    "You're going with two guys at once. You are such a whore, Avalon!"

    "Shut up, Gia!"

    "You have to admit it, Av. You're definitely a whore for accepting both of them. Does Elliot know about this?"

    "No...not really. I'm going to tell him on Monday."

    "Wow...I'd never knew you would do this kind of stuff, Av!"
