Chapter 4

Picture on the side is Angie!

Another Chapter is ready! Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read/vote or comment on the previous chapters. Also, thank you for reading chapter 4. I put a lot of effort into it and hope that you’ll enjoy it. I’ll update according to how this chapter is received so please tell me what you think about it.

Once again, this chapter is dedicated to jnovak. It's because she inspires me and I wish to some day be as good as her. If you haven't already, check out her story 'The Million Dollar Man'. it's amazing. It's terrific. I love it! I was honored when she took the time to vote and comment on the previous chapter so the least I could do is dedicate this chapter to her. :)

Much love,

GB

*UNEDITED*

Ella woke up feeling tired and cranky. The first thing she saw was Camilla’s worried face.

“Ella?” She whispered softly.

Ella’s eyes filled with tears once again.

“He doesn’t want me Cam.” She cried into her friend’s shirt.

“Oh, Ella! I’m so sorry.” She mumbled hugging her tightly.

“What’s wrong with me, Cam?” She asked.

“Ella Caldwell, don’t you dare think that there’s anything wrong with you because you’re perfect. Alpha or not, he’s a fool to not want you!” Camilla yelled with fury.

This bought another bout of tears and Camilla held her friend the entire time.

It took forty minutes for Ella to calm down. She walked over to the closet and picked out clothes for the day and hopped into the shower. After a calming, hot shower, she felt much better. She dried her hair and changed before walking out.

Camilla was waiting for Ella and smiled when she saw her friend’s fresh face.

“I was wondering if you’d like to meet my mate today. It’s totally okay If you don’t want-” Ella cut her friend off.

“I would be honored to meet your mate, Camilla!” Ella smiled as her friend hugged her tightly.

“His name is Kevin and he’ll meet us in the town.” Camilla said shyly.

The two girls exited the pack house and drove to the town square. Camilla looked nervous the entire ride and Ella decided to ask her friend what was wrong.

“It’s just that things with Kevin are complicated.” She whispered sadly.

“What’s wrong? Have you two been fighting?” Ella asked worriedly.

“It’s nothing like that. Things with the two of us are very different Ella.” She said, her eyes glistening.

“Camilla, you okay?” Ella asked softly.

“Yes. Ella Kevin is my mate, but I’m not his.” She cried.

Ella was shocked.

“What does that mean?” She asked, panicking.

“You see, his is my true mate but he lost his a long time ago. Sometimes, when you lose your mates, the moon goddess gives you a second chance. So she made me for Kevin. He loves me, Ella. I know he does. But he loves Shelly more.  I’m okay with that, but it hurts sometimes.” Camilla explained.
