The List (1D fanfic)

Everyone says that romance in movies are fake. And they are, they're scriped. Written by people who think and make this stuff up. Some say that those romantic movies are the most painful for them because it only proves to them that stuff like that only happens in movies, not real life. Movies and real life are two different things because life, as we know it, is spontaneous and unplanned. Nobody but God Himself plans it and the sad part is, we don't know what lies ahead of us. The only thing we can possibly do is pick up the stones that are thrown at us and learn to savor them, for those stones are one of a kind and we never know when we'll find a stone as pretty as a certain one.

In my fifteen years of existing on this planet that we call earth, I have also come to my senses that whatever romance happens in a romance movie stays in a romance movie. Or any movie, just not real life. Some romance movies are said to be true stories. But, if they are, they'd only happen to that couple in the movie and not happen to anyone else at all. That's the fun thing about love - it comes in so many random ways. One day someone's writing a free verse poem for someone, another day someone gives their special one a bouquet of carrots instead of flowers. These tiny differences are what define us. They make us who we are and let us stand out against all others. As Dr.Seuss said, nobody is youer than you. That's truer than true. But, with all the hours I've spent laying down on my bed and staring at the ceiling, I've come up with a way to create my own perfect romance that I doubt anyone else has thought of before. I call it the list, because it really is just a list. A check list, in specific. I've written it out on a piece of bondpaper and taped it to my wall so that I can look at it and wonder when this would come true. The list says, 

Together Let's

-split a milkshake                    -go to the zoo

-go to the aquarium                 -pick out eachother's outfits

-take a nap                            -go tanning

-kiss in the rain                      -have a harry potter marathon

-get matching outfits               -kiss underwater

-ride a ferris wheel                  -watch fireworks

-buy matching bracelets          -fall asleep on the phone

-go on a road trip                   -get ready together

-make breakfast                    -go on a classy-ass date

-write eachother letters           -get ice cream

-go mini golfing                      -go to the gym

-get in trouble                        -read a book 

-kiss at midnight                    -take a bubble bath

-make t shirts                        -go on a run

-bake something                    -have a paint war

-go to the beach                    -take a picture of us kissing

-make a couple video             -go on a starbucks date

-go to an amusement park      -slow dance

-sing a song really loud          -share popcorn at the movies

-order chinese food               -get a pedicure

-build a blanket fort               -paint something

-stargaze                             -fall for eachother

And there you have it. A list composed entirely by me. I hope I can be able to check in all the boxes with the same person. But, right now, nobody has crossed my mind while I thought of these. Hopefully, someone worthy will come along.
