Kisses and lollipops - Jalex One Shot

“Can I have some of your lollipops?” Jack asked, pouting at Alex.

“Sure, but only if you give me some of your Pokémon cards.” Alex said, sticking his tongue out at Jack. “Fine.” Jack grumbled before heading upstairs to get the cards for Alex.

Alex quietly tip-toed after him, even if both boys were pretty young, around thirteen or so, Alex was very curious.

This particular day, though, he had a hidden agenda; the seed of an idea planted by a jealous 6th grade girl, who Alex had no intention of kissing. She was furious and shrieked, “Go suck your boyfriend, Jack!” before stomping away on her much too tall high-heels.

Alex just laughed and returned to discussing who their frien Rian would rather kiss, Him, or Jack. Perverted minds aside, they were fairly innocent, neither of them had ever been kissed, although not because they were nerds or anything. They just didn’t feel like kissing girls, although that may have been because they thought that girls still had cooties…

Even so, Alex didn’t miss the way Jack blushed after the girl’s outburst. So Alex, being the bi-curious person that he is, made it his goal to kiss Jack, just to see what it felt like. He didn’t think it would be too difficult since both boys were pretty affectionate towards each other.

So Alex, quiet as a mouse, crept toward Jack. As he was standing behind Jack, he took the opportunity to wrap his arms around Jack’s waist, making the younger boy jump.

“What the hell, Alex?” Jack says, turning to face Alex. Alex looks up at Jack through his lashes, attempting to seduce him, not sure if it’s working. Jack’s eyes widen as Alex licks his lips.

“Can I have a hug Jack?” Alex asks, pouting at Jack.

“Um, okay?” Jack says, looking confused.

He wraps his arms around Alex and Alex takes that opportunity to nuzzle into his head into Jack’s neck. Alex inhales sharply and Jack pushes him away.

“What are you doing, Alex?” he asks, rubbing his neck, hoping to make the situation a little less awkward.

“I was just being friendly, isn’t that what best friends do?” Alex asks, trying to look hurt and innocent at the same time, and succeeding.

“I guess?” Jack sighs.

“Then?” Alex asks his expression devious and predatory as he advances toward Jack.

Jack is backed up into the wall looking like a scared animal. Alex just stalked toward Jack, smirking. He tried trapping Jack by putting both hands on either side of him, balancing himself on the wall. He leaned in close to Jack, who kept squirming underneath Alex. Frustrated, Alex whispered, “Fuck, Jack. Stay still!” into Jack’s ear, making him shiver, but Jack complied and stopped writhing underneath Alex. Content, Alex then leaned in, pressing himself even closer, towards Jack. He could feel Jack’s heartbeat, thumping away like a hummingbird. Jack was breathing slowly, with his eyes closed, trying not to let his nervousness show.

Alex lifted one hand to gingerly cup Jack’s face. He rubbed his thumb over Jack’s cheek and before he lost his nerve, he kissed him. He kissed his best friend. He kissed Jack’s soft, pink lips. This realization made him smile into the kiss. The kiss itself was short, pretty sweet and when Alex pulled back, he found it a bonus that Jack didn’t wipe his mouth with the back of his hand, or slap him, or punch him.

Actually, Jack wrapped his arms around Alex and pulled Alex in for another kiss. Alex blushed and then opened his mouth to say, “I’ve been wanting to do that the whole day,” while Jack said,

“I’ve always wondered what that would feel like,” at the same moment. They both giggled and Alex dug some candy from his pocket and gave it to Jack “Every kiss begins with a lollipop.” Jack said as he winked.
