Avoid the Alpha

Here it is! I went out earlier from like 6-10 so sorry!!! I immediately began writing so yea! Hope yall like it!

Lucas' Point of View:

I wake up and look to the digital clock flashing "5:10 a.m Friday". I sit up and rub my eyes. I automatically think of Kayleigh and a smile creeps across my face. But, then I remember what I did to her yesterday. Crap..I'm so stupid.

'Yea, I agree on that note.', my wolf said.

I growled,'Nobody asked you. Shut up.'.

I heard him snicker then quit. He was so arrogant. I'm pretty sure that is one of the things my mate didn't like about me. My wolf was the only reason this happened to me. He is the one that decided to try and control my mate.

'Hey, you mean our mate...', my wolf growled.

'She is just mine until you show your place with her. You're the reason she won't talk to me. So, therefore, she is mine.', I barked.

I felt the alpha come out of him,'You will not talk to me like that!'.

2 can play this game..'Remember your place mutt! I control whether you come out or not!'.

He growled then stepped down. Guess he heard that!!

I smirked then walked over to the bathroom. I need to get ready so I can head over to Kayleigh's.

I picked up the toothbrush and begin scrubbing my teeth. I finish doing that then walk into the bedroom and over to the closet with the mirror propped on the wall. I look into it and realize my hair was messy. I reached for my comb and brought it to my hair, brushing it down. After that I set it down then turn my attention back to my reflection. I looked down at my torso. No shirt on. I had a four pack, but I was still working on the last 2 for the six pack I was aiming for. I wasn't far from it, but still.

I looked farther down and there was my boxers. Nothing else on.

Wait, why am I examining myself??? Oh well. I smirk then flex, which is followed by laughter. Wait, what if someone is watching?

I shake my head of the thought then walk over to the closet and pull out some tan khaki shorts and a tight black muscle top. I pull the shorts up to my waist and button the buttons together. I reach for my black leather belt and loop it through the holes of the shorts. I buckle the belt then pull on the muscle top over my head and adjusting it around the stomach. I look back up and realize that I'm practically ready.

I shrug my shoulders and walk over to the dresser and pull out some white socks. I slide them on my feet and walk over to my chair and snatch my black nike bag off of it. I walk out of my bedroom and run down the stairs. I reach the door when I hear a door open, followed by,"Lucas..".

I sighed,"Yes dad?".

My father comes into sight and I realize he had on the same thing I did earlier. Sigh.

"Where are you going? It's 5 in the morning.", he asked with a stern look.

I gave him a blank look,"I'm going to see my mate.".

He laughed,"Wow, you go this early? Haha!!".

I sighed,"Ok, may I go?".

He nodded while still laughing,"Yes.".

I half-smiled,"Thanks.", then left.

I ran over to my vehicle and jumped in turning it on. I backed out of the driveway and turned to the direction of Kayleigh's house. I pressed on the gas and took off.

I couldn't wait to see her beautiful face.

'If she even lets you near it.', my wolf snickered.

'SHUT UP!!'.

I was standing in front of Kayleigh's house when I looked up and saw the lights in her room were still off. She is still asleep.

I walked over to Kayleighs side of the house and jumped up a tree that is beside her house. I got high enough on a branch that I could jump in the window. After a few seconds of preparing myself for if I were to fall, I jumped and landed on the edge of the roof. I sighed a sigh of relief and slowly opened up the window.

I don't know why I am sneaking around, Kayleigh is a heavy sleeper. I could beat a Rouge senseless and she wouldn't wake up from the noises of the fight.

I look over at the clock that read,"6:30 a.m Friday". I'm early. I smiled at the sight of my mate sleeping. She looked so peaceful.

I smiled then sat on the end of her bed. An idea popped into my head.

I stood up and walked over to the side of her bed. I slowly and gently sat down on the bed beside her. I studied over the way she was laying down. She was on her side with her right side on the mattress and was curled up in the fetal position. She had her left hand placed over her mouth covering it completely. Her eyes were gently being held shut. She looked cute. I smiled.
