Chapter 12

I’m so sorry about this chapter I updated my laptop and I lost all my stories :@ My brother in-law tried to get them back for me but even he’s stumped.

So I had to re-do this chapter the last one I had was so much better because I had my Fiancée’s help with the fight scene and in this one there isn’t really much of a scene because I didn’t know how to write it.

CASPERS P.O.V.

I watched as Sapphire hurried Crystal out of the room I didn’t have to worry as much now. As I moved through the room I watched vampire after vampire fall to ashes there was blood everywhere from where the human had been slaughtered that’s when I caught a glimpse of my brother again he was standing over near the door with a big smirk on his face.

‘I’ll wipe that smirk right off his face how dare he come into my home and cause all this trouble’ I thought as I slowly and carefully tried to make my way towards my brother without him noticing me.

As I grew closer to where my brother last stood i realized he wasn’t there. I turned around just in time to see his fist come flying towards me face. I dodged to the left just in time and quickly tried to punch him back but he mimicked my move and was out of hitting distance in a split second.

“Now brother no need to get violent” said Jasper.

“You came into my house with all these people who are murdering human and their own kind and your telling me not to be violent” I shouted.

I lost all control and attacked my brother again. I hit him right in the jaw but he didn’t seem fazed he shook it off like nothing even hit him. We went blow for blow slowly making our way out of the ballroom.  All you could hear was flesh hitting flesh walls being hit and things being shattered.

I lost sight of Jasper when I heard Crystal scream out to me.

I whirled around and was shocked as Jasper slammed his fist into my face. I stumbled back and I barely managed to get in a kick of my own and it was really more like a push. I was dazed from the last hit but at least now I knew Jasper didn’t have crystal. I know Sapphire would protect her at any cost.

As I went kick for kick with my brother he started getting dirty he picked up a piece of redwood that had splintered off the table we broke as we came out of the ballroom. Every time I threw a punch Jasper swiped at me with the wood it’s not big enough to kill me even if he tries to plunge it through my heart but it still hurts like hell when cut with it.

Jasper started to back away but I proceeded to move forwards making sure he was backing himself into a corner. I need him where he couldn’t escape I was going to end all this madness his caused for so many years. It’s all going to end tonight.

Just as Jasper was getting closer to the corner I made my move. I ran as fast as possible using my vampire speed and smashed his head into the wall. The plaster crumbled where I put his head into the wall but I wasn’t quick enough to see his next attack coming towards me. With no warning at all Jasper pushed the piece of redwood he was hold into my chest completely missing my heart but paralyzing me until it’s removed at least.

I fell to the ground unable to move.

“I’ll see you again soon brother and next time I’ll take that pretty little pet of yours. Or should I say your future bride” jasper whispered in my ear before kissing me on the forehead and running towards the door.

As I laid here I tried calling for Crystal or Sapphire but no one could hear me. I needed this wood out of me I needed to go after my brother I need to kill him before he touches my Crystal. I can’t let him take her away from me.

CRYSTAL’S P.O.V.

“Please let me go find him” I pleaded with Sapphire but she wouldn’t listen to me.

‘I need to find Casper I need to know his ok I need to tell him how I feel’ I thought.

While Sapphire had her backed turned I tried to make a run for it but by the time I reached the door behind the curtains she already had hold of my wrist.

“Let me go” I screamed.

“No. please let me go first stay behind me until I know it’s safe” she said.
