Okay, new story, you don't really have to know the story of Zelda: Twilight princess, to understand this, but it's basically years after Link saved hyrule from the twilight that engulfed it, and it's leader (The king of shadows), Zant. But years later, when someone decides to continue Zant's evil work, a new hero of the Gods is chosen, Katara.

History to repeat itself

Zorna, thought to be a descendant of Zant, the king of shadows, has overthrown the world of light and has engulfed hyrule once again, in twilight, his beasts are said to be guarding every entrance to the palace. Resident in castle town says; "We're all doomed to live in this shadow of darkness forever. Last time we had our hero, Link, chosen by the Gods, but even if someone else is chosen, I don't think that poor soul would have any chance." All traces of the twilight princess being alive are lost, and so is all hope, a warning to the following villages, which are said to be next, Kakariko Village, and ordon village.

Rowand Grydie, reporting to you from castle town.

The words, Zorna, Zant and twilight shot through me, making me shiver. Ordon and Kakariko next....Ordon, my village. Everyone's lives were going to be uprooted by Zorna and twilight, I only hope that the hero chosen by the Gods is a bloody good one. Link was one of a kind, the only one who had a chance of putting the world back into balance, but I guess we'll have to wait and see, but for the moment we're sitting ducks. The village was quiet when I walked out into the light of day. Will, my best friend, came running to me when I was about to enter, Kiah's house.

"Did you see the notice...from castle town...we're next." He said in with a distraught look

"I know. I'm going to go to the mayor, I want to join the troops." I said.

"No! You can't, it's far too dangerous, too many have been killed already, you can't. Just let them handle it." He yelled

"You can't expect me to just sit here, I don't know how anyone can, if this is the only way I can help, that's what I'll do." And with that, my sudden surge of bravery blocked out Will's voice completely, and I marched on to Kiah's house, her father was Mayor Colin.

The house was quiet, and had a sorrowful feeling, I thought it was completely empty until I saw Mayor Colin sitting alone at a table looking down on maps and notices.

"Mayor Colin? Sorry for disturbing you, but I want to join the ordon troops." He finally looked up at me, he looked dreadful, like he had been up all night looking at those charts.

"Oh, thank you, Katara. We need as much help as we can get. Last time this happened, nobody from this village did anything, that's why my father decided to travel to hyrule to assist Link and the others. I can't believe this is happening again, I would have thought I would die before I saw this kind of depressing atmosphere throughout the village again." he put his head down in sadness.

"Tell me about it, this place is usually so cheerful. So when are we going to hyrule?"

"Well, it would be easier if we could start our journey before twilight hits the land, but I doubt that's going to be an option anymore."

"Oh. Well, please tell when you know more, and, if you need any help...."

"Thankyou Katara, but there isn't really much you can do at this stage..."

It was almost too hard to think about the fact that soon this place was going to fall into that same helpless state that it did all those years ago, but like it or not, that was the sad reality, as life as we know it was about to change forever. Beth, Malo and Talo all signed up too, they came to me and told me what I was in for.

"But he shadow dwellers..." Gasped Beth

"The terrible creatures!" Said Talo

"The place to which we journey will be a hard place to see, once a place full of happiness and cheer will be dead and sorrowful, it's not pretty site...plus, you're a girl, you couldn't possibly..."

"MALO" Yelled Beth.

After Malo got a beat in, I told them that I was well aware of the dangers I was to face and I didn't care, I wanted to do all that I could. That night, I kissed my wolfbear, (Wolf crossed with a bear) Kippa, goodnight in his stable, played a tune from my flute which he loved, and fell in to my bed after a long day. That night, nightmares of shadow dwellers and strange lands filled my head, it couldn't have been a worse sleep.
