The picture to the side is a bit how I see Ghost... Her fur is a tad more white and of course she has the grey patch, but that's a pretty good realistic representation.

Prologue: Pain
My paws smacked against the ground as I ran through the trees in panic. I was in Bone’s ‘play land’ again and fear had overwhelmed my body. Panic bit at me like enemy teeth and the smell of blood made my head swim. I had no idea where I was going, but there was a strong pull in my heart that told me where I needed to go. It was like someone had hooked their jaws around my chest and was pulling me forward.
The skeleton trees seemed to get more and more alive as I went on, however. There boney, leafless branches began to sprout leaves and the dead grass began to become green. The fear in my body didn’t ease, however. The deeper into the forest I ran the more familiar this territory became… I was on the Dark Ones’ land. Nausea stirred in my stomach when I thought of everything that had happened here. I longed to stop running and turn back, but I couldn’t. I had been running for so long that my lungs burned and my paws had torn open. Bloody paw prints marked the ground as I flew across it.
I finally regained control of my body when the entrance to the caverns came into view. My breath was coming out in pants and I flopped to the ground, trying to stop the ache in my paws. My ears stayed perked and I glanced anxiously from side to side. Bone hadn’t made an appearance yet, but somehow I knew he was around here. I was getting to my feet to look around when I heard the antagonized wail.
It pierced through the too silent air like lightning through the sky. The wail oozed out pain, fear, and desperation. The voice had been drained of all hope… and it sounded so familiar. I waited a moment and another wail split through the silence. It was coming from the caverns, and I intended to follow it. I took a deep breath and swallowed hard, bracing myself. Then I took a step towards the entrance of the caverns. For all I knew, Bone was in there just around the corner and waiting to kill me.
