[A/N] Hi :D Next chapter up! Thanks to everyone who's read, voted and commented, I really appreciate it! Keep it coming please, it makes me so happpy (: I'm sorry if there's been a little confusion about this so far, I promise that everything will become clear as the plot moves along. I don't want this story to be like all the other werewolf stories out, so bear with me and it'll get more interesting. I've got a few things I'm planning that will give this story a twist(; Anyway, I also wanted to clarify one thing: Emalie does know she's a werewolf, but that's as far as her knowledge goes. She doesn't know about mates or that other werewolves exist- as far as she knows she's the only one of her kind- she just knows there's something up with the town and people.
Hope that makes a little more sense. Sorry for all the confusion.
Vote/comment, and enjoy!(:

Chapter Five
Emalie’s P.O.V
That night, I slept restlessly, falling in and out of a strange dream.
In it, I was standing in the middle of a forest, trees swaying above my head and lush grass beneath my bare feet. Dusk had already fallen, and I could see stars through the thick canopy of green. But even if it was dark, I could still see as well as if it were day.
The scene around me was strangely familiar, and it took me a moment to realize why; it was identical to the forest back at home, the one I had run away from. A dry breeze brushed against my face, lifting my hair lazily.
My sensitive ears picked up the sound of something approaching, twigs snapping under large feet. I tried to move, but I couldn’t run. My feet were rooted to the spot, and I could only stand their vulnerable as I waited for whatever it was.
A black shape rushed at me from the darkness of the trees, and then a huge black wolf jumped out of the brush, skidding to a stop right in front of me. I could of reached out to touch it, if I was able too. We stared at one another, the world going eerily silent.
And then the wolf’s face began to change, to twist until it resembled something human. Only the hazel shade of its eyes remained the same. It shifted into Jasper’s face, his high cheekbones and full lips grinning down at me from the wolf’s body.
“Look at yourself,” It whispered in a human voice, and I looked down as if an unseen force was controlling me. I started when I saw that I wasn’t wearing any clothes—I was completely naked.
My dream self didn’t try to cover up. Instead, I smiled.
“Show me who you really are,” Wolf-Jasper murmured, his voice picking up over the wind that was growing stronger. The trees whipped about, leaves spewing everywhere, and at that moment, a full moon broke through the covering, illuminating the clearing with a much stronger light than humanely possible. Suddenly everything was lit a beautiful silver, including me.
“Show me,” the wolf whispered, and when I looked back at him, he was completely wolf again. His hazel eyes stared at me, stared through me, straight to my soul.
A warmth flowed through me, and my dream self let it consume her, until she felt like her insides were burning. And then I was on four legs, my paws hitting the soft ground underneath. I shook out my silver fur.
The black wolf’s voice echoed in my head as I threw my head back to bay at the moon.
You belong to me.

My first two weeks of school flew by quickly. I kept to myself, keeping my head down and trying to make it through the days without being noticed. The initial excitement of my and my brother’s arrival had worn off, and I was more or less ignored by the others. Lily was the only one who talked to me, despite the fact I hardly ever replied, as well as Lance.
There did seem to be something amiss, though. I did get plenty of dirty looks from Jessica and her crew, but I heeded Lily’s warning and avoided her, and she left me alone. It was the looks that some of the other students had been giving me, that had me worried. Particularly the one from Jasper’s group, they all looked at me so expectantly, almost… knowingly. They only did it when they didn’t think I noticed, but I did. But not one of them approached me or said a word to me about why. I couldn’t make sense of it.
