My Dad was dressed in khaki shorts and a button up shirt, I just rolled my eyes. This wasn't a different look of my Dad, but it went from like DRESS UP! To that in a blink of an eye really, and it made me laugh. My Mom had a sundress on, thank God I threw that white dress to the side.

I groaned internally as we left the house and walked across the street, my Mom was rubbing my shoulder nonchalantly.

We knocked on their door, and immediately Kristie opened it looking insanely happy.

"WELCOME!"

....Let Hell begin.

The parents wanted alone time while they watched the burgers grill on the grill. I was less then thrilled and my Mom knew why. Maybe I was the only one to notice the looks she gave Chase... I'm sure if we were alone, in say a back alley- other things besides greetings would have been shared. My Dad on the other hand didn't know anything that had happened between Chase and I, and I liked it that way at first. If I told him he cheated on his girlfriend with me, then weither or not Chase's parents were here my Dad would have killed him.

"Let the grown ups have some talk time, how about you kids go to Chase's room." Chase's Dad proposed, and no parent saw a problem in it. REALLY?! Yes, just let me go into a stranger's room, forget about the fact he has a penis. My Mom, even though I could tell she really didn't care for him, gave me the look of 'try and work things out'. Probably because we're going to be living across the street from him for a long time.

I sighed heavily, letting everyone know that I didn't want to be here.

Inside, the house had a much different lay out then ours. When you walked into ours you were greeted with a hallway, and the stairs, and on either side was the dinning room and living room and down the hall was the kitchen. But in Chase's, though it was just as nice you walked into the kitchen- oh wait. No. It was the same layout, the kitchen was in the back next to the porch. Hah, stupid.

Chase tried to grab my hand to lead me to his bedroom, but I yanked it out of his grasp and met his sad look with a death glare.

"I'm not blind, I can fallow you without you touching me." I said bitterly, and Chase lead me up the stairs, down the hall to a closed door. I really didn't want to be here.

This isn't how I picture Chase's room, not that I stayed up at night wondering or anything- I actually didn't think at all about it so I didn't know what I was expecting but this was not it. Chase had dark blue walls, with white shelves going around his room nicely- holding... Action Figures. I made a face at them, and couldn't help it. I laughed. Chase gave me a slight dirty look.

"Dolls?" I asked, just to make fun of him. I knew what he was say to it. He looks flustered and embarrassed and mad.

"Action Figures." Chase immediately said in a hard tone.

I stepped more into his room, he had matching bed spread- which was a plus. At least it wasn't Spiderman... well no that actually would have been amazing. He might have gotten some by someone that way. But he's an asshole, so now its not going to happen.

He had a nightstand by his full size bed, that held a collection of books and a reading light. Chase has a computer desk, fully equip with a desktop and more books. I could tell by quickly scanning the spines of the books that he liked action. Then he had a dresser with a radio and a DVD stand full of DVD's. ...Why did he have to be such an ass?!

But my eyes landed on the largest pile of comic books I have ever seen. They were in protective slips and everything. I couldn't help it, I wanted to go through them and see what he had. Before I laid a hand on them, Chase was standing in front of me protectively.
