Chapter 1

(Warning! This isn’t fanfiction, like I said before. Although you may find most names and relations the same, *as well as the cast* it still isn’t. I just got too fond of Supernatural and too lazy to conjure up some names.)
To Dean, nothing was more gratifying than a nice dinner at some fancy restaurant, and being able to eat lasagna, his favorite classy dish. Being only a poor man, this was his fourth time, and the excitement that lingered within him while waiting for his beloved food never vanished. His jade eyes still had the same sparkle as it did the first time he entered a nice restaurant as a kid.
“Father, are you sure you want the same thing as I want? You can t-“ Dean never finished since his father gave a short, hearty laugh. He was never this enthusiastic in asking him about school, but if its food, you can bet he’ll ask a hundred to make sure you get what you want.
“No need to ask me again and again, Dean. I know what I want.” Replied Egan Winchester with a jolly smile pasted on his face.
Dean merely sighs, and laughs at himself. He’s bugged his father, and he doesn’t even know why. He just feels uncomfortable, like his father was holding back. And he certainly doesn’t want that.
As time passed, Dean never growing impatient, a waiter with a moustache and a tailcoat arrives and serves them their desired dish. The lasagna was less than half the size of the plate, and it seemed overrated to buy such a small yet expensive dish. But the quality was what mattered most to Dean, and he knows he won’t be disappointed with his choice.
“Dean. You’re fantasizing too much about your food again.” Egan mocked Dean unlike a father would towards his son. But that’s the way they are.
They both laugh, and eat, Dean savoring every bit of flavor. The lasagna here can never be compared to any other restaurant, all its majestic colors combining into one, savory piece of dish that he can’t take his eyes away from. If it was not for him saving his father’s boss’ daughter, he never would’ve got extra money to treat his father and self out. This was one of those family moments that seemed perfect for Dean, where everything was in place. Despite his mother long dead, he felt peace with his father and he was free from the slavery of the world. The food was just one of the many things that made the mood better. Then there was a restaurant’s ambience, and so on and forth.
“Father, would you like to eat here again some other time?” asked Dean, not really paying attention to him anyway. He was busy eating, and talking with his mouth full, the reason why his father scolded him like a child despite being a 17 year old man.
“Nah. Eating here even just one time is enough to make an old man like me happy. I’m already at my fifties, and I don’t require a lot nowadays. I have achieved what I want, and seeing my son happily chomping away in a nice place is one of them.”
“Well, wouldn’t you want to see your son eat happily again?” joked Dean.
“He’ll get too fat.” Retorted Egan, the creasing lines in his face deepening with his childish smile.
Egan was stout man with a medium height, with brown hair. His eyes were a light shade of brown, and he looked more like a man in his mid forties. He always wore a smile when he went about, and he rarely gets down. His attire composed of a white polo and some slacks. He looked friendly, like a man from a toy store that kids won’t mind running to.
Dean, on the other hand, was tall guy, with brown hair that was always pulled up. He had a subtle nose, and he got his jade eyes from his mother, and he had a more charming smile compared to his father. He had a spray of freckles on his face, which other girls find attractive. He wore a simple blue jacket, with a green shirt underneath and some denim pants. He is most definitely handsome, and his body was a match for his face.
This caught Dean some looks from other women in the restaurant, causing him to fidget while he ate.
“We should go now, Dean.” Invited his father once he finishes eating being aware of Dean’s current situation. He would’ve liked to stay a little longer here, but he knew eventually they had to go.
He wipes his face clean, and stands up, his face hardening as he waited for Dean to do the same as well. They paid for the fee in advance so there was no need to wait for another waiter to approach them.
