SYNOPSIS:

Xena has just divorced her husband of six years because she caught him cheating with some blonde airhead. She has nowhere to go now that he's taken the house and the money. She's moping around at work when she sees her two sexy bosses.

Cale and Connor are temptation in human form and they can't resist having a taste of Xena, even if it is only for one night.

     I was sitting at my desk, trying to think about what I was going to do with my life. My cheating ex-husband was off with some blonde bimbo and he’d claimed all the money during the messy divorce. I just wanted him out of my life for good and so I didn’t really think of the consequences when I signed the papers and left the courtroom. I sighed and tried to decide what the hell to do next. I was staying at the friends place for a while as she was on holiday with her husband for three weeks but I couldn’t stay with them forever. I had to find my own place and fast.

      I heard the sound of one of the office doors opening and closing and quickly focused on the computer screen in front of me. I didn’t want to get told off for slacking at work. I was already doing overtime and getting told off would just add more misery to my day. I stared at the computer screen and just saw a blur of numbers and letters. Nothing seemed to make sense at the moment. I was about to go and buy a soda from the vending machine at the end of the hall, when I heard the sound of my name being called.

      I turned my head and my heart literally stopped. My new twin bosses Cale and Conner Bronson were standing staring at me. They only came here a week ago and were already all anyone could talk about. They were the sons of Ian Bronson, one of the most influential businessmen in the world. They were so gorgeous; the most stunning male twins I had ever laid eyes on.

      “Xena,” Cale said, his voice deep and seductive.

      “Yes sir,” I answered.

      “Why are you still here?” Cale’s older brother Connor asked. “Everyone else left ages ago.”

      “I’m here on overtime. I still have a lot of work to do.”

      “You look stressed,” Cale noted.

      “Oh, it’s nothing,” I assured him.

      “I heard that your divorce was finalised today,” Connor said.

      I looked at him. I wonder who told him. “That’s right. I guess I’m still getting used to the fact that I’m free of my husband.”

      “If you don’t mind me asking, why did you get divorced?” Cale asked. “I was under the impression that you and your husband were happily married.”

      “We were,” I told him. “Until he cheated on me with some blonde air hostess.”

      They frowned.

      “He must be an idiot for cheating on someone as beautiful as you,” Connor said with a smile.

      I had no idea how to respond and as I flushed under the compliment. “I...”

      “Not to mention sexy,” Cale added.”

      “Smart,” Connor inputted.

      “Sophisticated.”

      “Seductive.”

      Before I knew it, I was in Cale’s arms and his lips were on mine, giving me a soft caress.

      “Oh,” I whispered as he pulled away.

      I was caught around the waist by an arm and pulled back into a strong body. When I turned my head, I saw Connor smiling down at me. His lips came down on mine as passion filled my body at the commanding kiss. I felt lips on my neck and a pair of hands at my waist and realised that it was Cale. I felt weak from the kisses and caresses they were giving me but I couldn’t find the strength to push them away. Instead I arched closer, wanting more of their touch. My senses were being overwhelmed. I didn’t want to analyse what was happening or why. I just wanted to live in the moment and see where it took me.
