I'm back better than ever from a long vacation!

I'm sorry I haven't posted any new stories lately.

Can you ever forgive me?

So here, we have a book that someone suggested to me.

At first glance, the title grabbed my attention.

I mean, come on, The Last Lion?

Makes you wonder.

As you can obviously tell, the book is about a lion...

But also, it's about the relationship between an animal and its owner.

The love and bond that they share.

There are hardly any mistakes that I could find, which you all will like.

There's just something about the story that hooks you.

Dark's descriptions and characters are so believable.

Jed, the grandfather, hardly talks yet he still manages to make me smile.

What It's About

Scientists and Tree-huggers alike tried to warn us. Big Cats were far more important than anyone knew. But no one listened. For the most part these claims fell on deaf ears. Twenty years later the effects of their extinction have proven widespread, reaching past America and extending as far as Russia. That’s why Emma Wilberg kept her discovery a secret. She couldn’t trust that the world would do the right thing. Unfortunately for her, secrets never remain so.

So far, there are only about three chapters up.

But it seems as if Dark updates pretty regularly.

This book has now been added to my library.
