In came Matthew-shortstock who wanted FULL custody of Mailish, even though Maria and Ailish legally owned her.

Maria and Ailish fought to protect Mailish, but Matthew was so cunning and deceiving that he sneakily took her away from them. He abused her, by taking away her inner AND outer beauty. She believed all hope was gone until suddenly in swooped Maria and by using her amazing charm and quick knowledge, Mailish was reunited once again with her parents, who were delighted to have her back in their arms.
