First dates are meant to be the deciding factors on rather you give the guy another chance. And if I had to decide on rather I see Jake after out first day than I would say…hell no! Sure he was sweet but he made us go sky diving! I hate heights and I almost wet myself! And the rest of the time Jake kept laughing at me because I was screaming like I was being attacked. So as I sit in his car with my arms folded across my chest I can’t help but scowl at him.

            “Brooke are you still mad at me?”

            I sighed and looked at him with an ‘are you serious’ look,” Of course I’m mad at you dumb ass!”

            “How was I supposed to know you were scared of heights?”

            “I was screaming ‘Jake I can’t I’m scared of heights’!” I screamed at him.

            He laughed, “Oh yeah.”

            I shook my head and looked out the window once again. Then my phone started to vibrate in my pocket.

            “Are you wearing vibrating panties?” Jake asked.

            I glared and him before I answered, “Hello?”

            “Brooke, you have to get home! Connor’s awake!” Heather screamed with excited on the other line.

            “Really? We’re almost home,” I say and hang out. I turn to Jake, “Connor’s awake!”

            “That’s good news,” he says kind of smugly.

            “It’s amazing news! Why aren’t you excited?”

            He looked at me, “I see the way you look at him Brooke. You have been by his side almost this whole week and how do you think that makes me feel? I know I sound like a dick because Connor just woke up but I have to ask it. Do you have feelings for him?”

            I stared at him in shook, “What? No! He’s one of my good friends and he needed someone. I’m sorry if I made you seem like you were last but he may have died Jake.”

            “I know that but since he no longer has a mate I swear if he comes after you I’m ripping his head off,” he says has he grips the steering wheel.

            “He wont, I dedicated to you! Hell I’m in heat and if I’m not around you it hurts more than anything!”

            “And since you’re in heat when you’re not around me any guy could pleasure you and that would be fine. Connor has a record Brooke. He goes after anything he wants and he fights until he gets what he wants.”

            “Do you trust me?” I asked.

            “Yes, its him I don’t trust!” he slams his hand on the steering wheel.

            “I know you’ll fight harder if he tries anything,” I say trying to calm him down.

            “I’ll just rip his head off.”

            “Jake,” I warn. “If Connor tries anything I’ll rip his head off before you can get a chance okay?”
