Chapter 9

(The Lunar Pyramid)
After the break we all went in the pyramid, it was beautiful with lush green trees with white bark and the rugs were white with gold stitching on it. The place had a white ores on the walls that glowed with a bright white light. The pyramid didn’t look the same on the outside, the outside was old and crumbled on the bottom side but the top looked like a big shiny mirror that was broken. There was a strange mist pouring out of the broken mirror that had an ominous look to it. What also was weird was that my father told me that nobody had been in the pyramid for centuries but the pyramid was well cleaned and taken care of. We all loved the pyramid but we were caught off guard when a boy with french looking clothes appeared out of no where, he had brown slick hair with blue eyes I could tell that he stole away Elena's breath because she was staring with him in an in-love fashion. He seemed to notice this to by the way he also looked at her in an in-love fashion. He quickly came over and kissed her hand and introduced himself as Lumiere De'moure in a french accent that was a turn off for me, I’m more of the American accent like Blaze. But its working for Elena because I seen her playing with her hair. You could tell she was new at the flirting thing because she was off and a little weird with it but Lumiere didn’t care.

“Hello Lumiere! What are you doing here?” I said in a tone.

“Oh yes please forgive me! I was sent here to use Lorian's charm to fix the mirror.”

After he said that I seen him pull a vessel orb out of his pocket and it turned into a charm that was clear with an odd soul in it. I wondered if Lorian the goddess of life herself was in the charm. When I asked him this he just laughed and said if that was the case than we would all be dead. He just said it was the essence of all the souls in Lorian created, in other words It had pieces of every soul in the world living and dead.

“That’s so cool.” Elena said still in-love.

“OK since you just need to do that than why are we here.” Said Joris.

“I’m glad you asked! You guys are needed to help me get passed all the souls still in the pyramid. My photokinesis powers isn’t enough to stop them all.”

“Photokinesis aye? Wow light powers are a rare ability around here.” Said Blaze.

“Wow Blaze I didn’t think you would be smart enough to know that was light powers and not from a camera.” I said in a mean way.

“Your so mean Fira! Your just mad because your mom looks better than you!” Blaze said.

“You little asshole!” I said while hitting him on the head.

“Ow Fira! For a pyrokinesis, you sure have a cold heart!” Blaze said in a gross tone.

“Wow you guys sure are a colorful group of people!” Lumiere said in a ha-ha way.

“Oh by the way lumiere are you related to Lorian because you know a lot about her?” I asked in a normal tone.

“No no its just my mother Corona is her sister, goddess sister!”

“Wow that means your a child of the gods like us too.” I said while noticing Blaze turning away in a quick way after hearing me say this.

Blaze are you OK?

“I’m good but the light in this place hurts me and I don’t understand why of how?”

“Well do you have shadowkinesis because I used holy light to keep the souls from leaving the pyramid so anything dark will get hurt too.” Said lumiere.

“What Blaze is this true! Is this why your powers are dark!”

After I said this I noticed that he was crying softly. I knew that he didn’t want too but he couldn’t hold it back anymore. I was so sad for me to see him like this so I gave him a hug and felt bad. Seeing him like this made me want to cry too.

“Blaze you need to know if you need to talk I will always be here for you. You need to know that we are the same! Two odd people in a world that thinks different of us. But Blaze you need to know even though I’m hard on you, not because I hate you or anything, its just that I’ve never met anybody that I’ve had these weird feeling for. I mean you are perfect to me and I really like you.” I said in a funny tone. “I just just cant hold the feelings back anymore.”

“Fira did you really mean that! What you said I mean.”

“Yes! Blaze I really do! I really like you Blaze and I cant lie anymore.”
