The Breakup

"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" I screamed. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain. It never came. I heard many gasps so I opened my eyes. I was one foot above the ground in mid-air. I was levitating. And then, I just fell on the ground with an "Oof" I rubbed the back of my head where it hurt. The real pain was in my left wrist. Its a good thing I'm right handed! I thought. My friends rushed over to me and helped me up.

"Are you ok?"  Emily, Sam, Patricia and David said at the same time.

"I'm fine. Well actually, I hurt my wrist, " I said.

"I'll take her back to her room," said David.

"Ok, Daniel, (Mrs. Carnation can't learn anyone's name and has memory loss, so she can't use her powers) Now, class, if your finished with the obstacle course, you can practice your talent," Mrs. C said.

David and I were walking to my room when I said, " No! I'm going to miss Drama! I haven't even tried that extracurricular!"

"You can try it tomorrow, so looks who got a new power" David said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Ya, ya, ya, soooo, Little Boy Blue, whats your activity?" I said with a grin.

"I have basketball." he said as we went inside my room.

"I'm going to get some ice for my wrist," I said walking over to the mini fridge.

"No need, just come over here and sit down while I take a look at it," he said. I sat down on the couch beside him. He held my wrist and "Sana" he spoke. I looked at my wrist and saw the brusies vanish. "Skyla?"

"Yeah?" I said looking at my wrist.

"Don't move." He put a finger to my forehead that I realized was bleeding. "Sana" he said. I felt the gash close and relief flooded through my body. He was very close to me inspecting anything he might have missed when the door opened. I saw some white feathers and heard screaming.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING WITH MY GIRL?" said Adam.(Adam is Skyla's boyfriend in case you forgot) Adam took a step closer to David when I put a hand to his chest.

"Stop!" I said. "Why do you always have to pick fights?"

"Why can't you stick to one boyfriend?" he snapped.

" David isn't my boy-"

" Whatever Skyla. I'm just glad the other girl I'm dating is hotter than you" he said. My mouth hanged open and in a flash, he left.
