Review of The Poison of Her Pleasure by SamanthaJR

The Poison of Her Pleasure is a work in progress by a wonderfully talented young writer, SamanthaJR. She's written several great adventure and sic-fi stories in her time here on Wattpad, and this one is a special kind of gem. She uses awesome description and beautiful prose to create the image of a dark and dreadful future in which the rays of the sun no longer reach us here on earth.

The main character, Victoria, is part of some sort of mysterious biologically engineered race of red headed people who are used to create vitamin D for the rest of the population. They are made to sit under artificial UV lamps called SUns (Solar Units) and while they are all together under the fake sunlight they feel a sense of uncontrollable euphoria that easily sweeps the reader away.

Although SamanthaJR hasn't written much for this story, I highly recommend reading what she has. I instantly became entangled in her beautiful words and the sad, sorry scene they depicted. I for one and excited to follow along as she updates this one, her spelling and grammar are fine, and her imagination is extraordinary!

One thing that gets me down about this story is that the first chapter is so jam-packed with information it is a little difficult to understand. It's reasonable though, considering the world the author is describing to the readers. A little more work could possible iron out the details and make it a bit of an easier read, but I promise you'll enjoy yourself anyway.

Concept: 10/10 (I love love love love this concept. I don't think I could possibly fall out of love with it!!!)

Creativity: 10/10 (The mystery that is created in two chapters is so compelling! The vocabulary is rich and descriptive and the imagery is beautiful)

Spelling/Grammar: 9/10 (Proofread but not perfect)

Form: 8/10 (Again, a little jumbly at parts.)

Total Readability: 9.25/10 (A MUST READ!!!)
