“I think you should tell that person.” So I said “I just did.” And he said “So what did they say?”
“That I should tell that person.” And he got confused and was like “Didn’t you tell that person… and wow… that’s what I said!” Could he get any more clueless! “Um… well…”
And then finally! “Wait! You’re not saying…” *Happy Dance* “Yea… I am.” And then he ruined it and had to go and say “But he’s so weird!” At this point I got confused… Does he or does he not understand that it is him?!
“Yea, you’re right he is…” Well it’s true, I mean he is weird and he obviously doesn’t understand this at all. Ugh… why does this have to be so difficult? Why did I have to go and fall in love with my best friend? Not only that, but why did I have to go and open my big mouth about it?
“Well what are you gonna do about it?” Oh, boy. “Well it’s kind of impossible for me to do anything about it…” He is off in college. I can’t exactly go there and work things out in person… or whatever.
“Why not?” Because it’s you, you idiot! “Well I mean I’m not really anywhere near the person right now so…” Just figure it out, so I don’t have to say it. Please!
“Like where? I mean it shouldn’t matter…” Yes it does because in person makes things easier and then I could see how you react. That way if things went bad, I would know. And I would also know whether or not you were lying in an attempt to not hurt my feelings.
“Like in another state.” Stupid college. “Oh… Well what are you going to do?” Ugh… I don’t know… I just want to tell you! “I don’t know, I miss him more than he knows though.” Dude just get it already… I don’t know what to do!
“Well did you tell him that?” I just did dummy… “Yea…” if he asks me what he said… “Well I’m sure he misses you too.” Yea, right… You don’t even know who I’m talking about. And if you did, you would probably not be talking to me right now…
“How would you know?” I mean, he’s the only one who would know but that’s beside the point! “Because I miss you…”
“Really?” Oh my gosh… Did this just happen? No it didn’t, he just misses me… not in that way… “Well, I mean, yea…”
“But…?” “But what?” “I don’t know…”
“So anyway, what are you gonna do about that guy?” You are that guy!!
“I don’t know… maybe I’ll just try to forget about it.” Like that’s gonna happen. Easier said than done.
