GOODBYE STRANGER
Generous claps. Greedy ears.
Ogling eyes boring into mine
Often jealous; occasionally divine.
Devoted minds creating tears
Brightened horizons; casual tides
Years of indecision creates divide
Everybody’s equal, yet it’s up to you to decide.
Sitting back watching the crowds go by,
Till the night draws in, to live the lie
Rejection neglected, obsessed accepted.
Acoustic angels we may be
Never acknowledged as humans,
Gladly approved as supernatural illusions.
Each second goes by. Tick Tock, flee.
Recovery necessary, you and I were both decepted.
