Broken With Betrayal

 

He was broken, not only superficially, but so was his center. The world hadn’t been fair with him, and nor was the time doing any good. He could feel himself falling to bits, losing himself, sinking to his knees. Losing the only woman he’d loved the most hadn’t been a good experience for him, and losing his own self was even worse. Unaided, helpless and constantly betrayed, he stumbled in a murky world, cursing himself for still being alive; looking for two things he’d been searching for since forever: Happiness and Love.

She was happy and content with her life, cheerful and carefree. She’d never known she’ll meet him one day. And when she does, things change quite unexpectedly. She can’t bear the tragic sight of him, his gloom kills her, and before she knows it, she’s risking her life for him. She doesn’t know why she’s doing it, but she knows one thing: she has to give him the two things that he’s searching for. She has to bring him back, and make him find the part of him he’s lost, make him know that he isn’t just another stray piece on this massive heap that people call the Earth.
