CASEY'S POV:
I woke up with Ray Ray on my side, filling the void in the bed next to me. My eyelids were heavy with drowsiness, even if I had just woken up. I was up most of the night, coughing up more blood. The coppery, metalic taste of blood suddenly became more evident on my tongue. I sat there thinking about last night. How Ray'd held me and gotten me through it, making sure I was never alone during the process. I looked down at his arm around my waist. His grip was tight, keeping me safe as if he thought something was going to come and take me while we slept. He probobly got less sleep than I did, I realized, looking at his face while he snored slightly.
I slowly pulled his arms off of me, trying not to wake him up. I pried myself from his arms, trying to sit up without killing myself. I winced as my sides gave me shit. I knew the broken ribs were gonna hurt, but that much? This sucks ASS man!
I refrained from crying out in pain as the sharp hurt in my sides forced its way to my attention. I just sat there, waiting for the pain to dull enough so I could move again. Once it did I gingerly lifted myself so that I could lean back on the headboard. That in itself made me hurt like hell.
"You should have woken me up."
I jumped when I heard Ray Ray's voice. He smiled gently up at me, taking my hand in his as he sat up. He slowly pulled me onto his lap, craddling me in his arms. He held me to his chest.
"What good would it have done to ruin your much needed sleep?" I said in reponse, lifting my arms and lacing them around his neck. I sighed deeply, loving this feeling of just being in his arms. It felt warm and safe :)
"So are you saying you'd rather me be asleep than having me be able to do this?" he said, before leaning down and touching his lips to mine. It made goosebumps raise on the back of my neck and sent chills down my spine. Never did I ever think that his kisses would be this sweet.
"No, but I still think you ought to sleep," I said, fighting back a smirk after he'd pulled away. He shrugged, nuzzling me closer to him. I rested my head in his neck. I inhaled deeply, taking in his scent. I closed my eyes, debating on giving in to the nagging weariness. He softly rubbed my cheek, making me sleepier.
Suddenly, a thought occured to me.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Eight-thirty," he responded, checking his alarm clock.
"Why aren't we in school?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Because mom thought it was a bad idea. You can barely move without screaming," he said gently.
"Touche," I said, softly kissing his neck. He laughed quietly.
"Why don't you lay down again?" He suggested after hearing me yawn. I began to nod, until I felt that horrible sensation go through my body.
I pulled back slightly so I wouldn't bang heads with Ray as I began hacking. He reached over and gave me a tissue, holding me up in a sitting position so I wouldn't double over and hurt my ribs. It still hurt like a mother though...
"There isn't as much blood this time," he told me after I was done. I was trembling again, dammit. I slowly moved myself back against him, feeling myself getting even more tired.
"Go to sleep," he whispered in my ear. I nodded slowly, letting my eyes slip closed and my body to be fully supported by his.
I was out like a light.

ROC'S POV:
I was holding hands with Cyra, walking her to her locker, when I saw her. She was standing over by MY locker, flipping her hair and talking to one of her friends. Cyra saw her about three seconds after I did and dropped my hand, veering away from me and over towards Celeste.
"Oh no you don't," I said, taking her waist and pulling her back towards me.
"Noooo Roc I don't wanna be there when you break up with her..." she whined, dragging her feet.
I rolled my eyes. "I want you there though!" I said, pulling on her arm.
"WHY?!" she yelled.
"Moral support," I said, grinning at her. She rolled her eyes, still trying to pull out of my grasp. "C'mon babygirl, please?"
She still wasn't having it.
"Fine," I said simply. I stopped moving and she gave me a suspicious glance.
