Twice Taken

         From Chapter 57:

  Vincent broke in, “You could do dreamwalking. We all could. It feels real, but you could dream that her abdomen is flat and won’t prevent you from taking her like you want to.”

            Kara stared at him and demanded, “Show me now, because I think I might just die if someone doesn’t touch me soon!”

Chapter 58

            Nikolai shook his head at his mate. She was angry and obviously aroused to the point of pain, but he didn’t want to hurt her. Sebastian asked Vincent quietly, “How do we go about dreamwalking?”

            “It’s not hard to do. I could show you?” Vincent offered and the other three nodded.

            He carefully pulled Kara from Nikolai and laid her gently on the bed. He kissed her softly and skimmed his thumbs over her cheeks. On a sigh, he asked her, “Kara, do you trust me?”

            “With my life.”

            “Would you be okay with me making love to you? I know that all we’ve done is kiss, but-”

            “Please just shut up and do it!” Kara demanded and Vincent sighed, nodding his head. It wasn’t supposed to be like this when he finally took his Bride for the first time.

            Kara sensed his mood and softened, “I just can’t think about it for too long. I-I do love you, Vincent.”

            The last came out as a guilty whisper and Sebastian moved to Kara’s other side, holding her hand. His voice was soft and comforting to her and he told her, “Kara, Sweetheart, we don’t feel betrayed by your love for Vincent. We, well we were actually worried because you should be just as in love with him as you are with us, and you’ve been all but shunning him, and that’s not right Baby.

He needs you just like we do, and the three of us, your mates, we’re like triplets. We’re that close. Please don’t keep hurting him out of loyalty to us.”

            “But if I get too close to him, you’ll hurt him! Don’t you see? Your wolves will take over and Vincent will die. I love him, and I can’t let that happen.”

            Vincent hugged Kara, finally understanding what she’d been hiding from him for so long. Nikolai spoke up, “We won’t hurt him Kara. Rei-valkas and Conrivel understand. Besides, Caden could hold his own in a fight, and none of us want to hurt you. Hurting Vincent means hurting you. We understand that.”

            Kara nodded slowly, “If you mean that, then you won’t have a problem with him making love to me.”

            Sebastian kissed Kara and moved to lock the suite’s door and then the one to the bedroom as well. Nikolai gave orders for the guards to go on higher alert, since the four of them would be busy for a while, and he locked the windows and doors to their space. Vincent took advantage of the time and asked again, “Kara, my Love, will you allow me to make love to you?”

            “Yes. I know you won’t do anything to hurt our sons, and I know you love me.”

            Vincent cupped her face in his hands and held her gaze with his own, “I’m going to help you sleep this time, just so that you don’t wake up when it gets intense, because I plan to make you fly. Are you okay with that?”

            Kara nodded and Vincent kissed her slowly. His lips brushing then moving firmly on hers, tasting and teasing her and his tongue caressed hers. She let out a soft moan and Sebastian and Nikolai just watched from chairs on opposite sides of the bed. When Vincent pulled away, his eyes turned black and he commanded, “Sleep and dream, keeping your mind open to me, my Bride.”
