Did you think I would fight on your side?
Did you think I would take action to silence those cries?
I don’t want to live for the blood, the evil, and the avenged,
how could I represent wrath, anger, and revenge?
It isn’t who I fight for, or how I do what’s right.
It’s never about the darkness, or what’s consuming the light.
The reason behind the war, the rumble and the for-shadowed gore.
Is the truth to what hurts me,
ever so painfully, and to the core.
This was never about you or me.
But about the satisfaction you’d get from driving the queen,
Away, away from kingdom, her new home,
we must stitch the the past, a needle to sew.
This was never about the in-between,
but about the pleasure of sinking her body beneath the sea.
Farther, and farther below she goes,
Just to conquer few measly foes
I fight for honor, I fight for peace.
I fight for who I truly believe,
Can take the candle and show me the path,
to cease this never endng blood bath
Did you think I’d be your ordinary, cocky knight?
Did you think I was deaf, relying purely on sight?
For I am no longer your hero in, I’m not disguised.
I’m not standing for cruelty, hatred-- yet you deny,
Lean in closely so you can hear my words,
shrieked and screamed to your uncaring ears.
“Be gone, be gone” seek help elsewhere.
I am not a dress that you can jaggedly tear.
I act on my values, my values alone.
Following the words written in stone.
Go find another to ride on your saddle,
Go find another to fight your battles.
