Haiku of the Faithful – we, who believe
Glory to the Lord
Nations tremble before him
Vast is his harvest
Lay waste to Christians
A prophecy long foretold
Which generation?
Corners of the earth, God sees
Take heed that your hands stay clean
Give praise on your knees
False prophets these days
A professed man of faith
Wicked are his ways
Seconds - moments gone
With each passing I grow cold
An angel - behold
My soul sleeps in peace
The promise of salvation
The harvest HE reaps
I beheld the sky
The universe held its breath
And screamed a great cry
Below a fury
A raging kingdom of fire
a judge - a jury
that very moment
I beheld every knee bend
The truth on their tongues
This nightmare – unreal
These torments gnaw at my flesh
Punishment I feel
The final hour
Came at twelve thirty four sharp
My last deed – last thought
The last lie was told
The last sin was coveting
The universe - paused
The marks on their heads
The righteous they wish to kill
They've made their own beds
They’ve come to jail us
They believe their evil – good
Prophecy fulfilled
The hour has come
Vile tongues and perverse nations
Flee to the hills – run!
They worship him - bold
Doctrines of many devils
Long ago foretold
One day they will come
Hidden systems lie dormant
Death for lots, and none
Hidden agendas
They watch us at every turn
Watching the clock tick
