Finding My True Mate

Hey guys! So I was not happy with how this chapter turned out so I took it down and have now reposted it. Some parts are still the same but I also added a lot of things into it such as, FLASHBACKS, and DIALOGE! Hope you like it and don't forget to VOTE and FAN! Chapter 5: Bananas




Riley POV

I woke up the next morning and did my usual routine of shower, brush teeth, comb hair, walk down the stairs. But when I reached my kitchen expecting the smell of food and my mate wasn’t there. I am capable of cooking for myself but never do I make or eat breakfast, it took weeks for Walker to get me to start eating a good breakfast every morning. I opened the refrigerator door and glanced in trying to find the milk. Sitting on the top  shelf was a carton of milk with a bright orange sticky note on it.

I plucked off the sticky note and read it, ‘Riley, if your reading this it means all your having today is milk for breakfast. I figured this would happen so I made you fruit salad for while I am gone. Love, Walker’

Awww isn’t my mate sweet? I dug through the fridge trying to find the fruit salad, finally I found it! Sitting on the top shelf next to the milk was my food, that is the last place I would look. I grabbed the container and sat it on the counter. Reaching in the cabinet that was above my head I grabbed a bowl and opened a drawer to get a spoon. I peeled off the lid to the fruit salad and smelled it, GROSS! There is bananas in here! I absolutely hate bananas they smell disgusting, and have a really weird texture. I took the container to the trash and threw it away.

Flashback

A little girl with long golden hair was sitting at a table picking out the fruit she doesn't like from the fruit salad. Placing several slices of bananas on the table her mother comes over and sees the pile.

"Why aren't you eating the bananas? They are your favorite."

"Mommy, I don't like 'nanas anymores!" said the little girl crossing her arms across her chest.

"Why don't you like them anymore?" asked the mother getting down to the little girl's level looking her straight in the eye.

"Benj'min don't like 'nanas so, I don't either." the little girl huffed.

"Benjamin doesn't like bananas?" the mom asked. The little girl shook her head no. All of a sudden the doorbell rang and the girl shot up out of her seat and ran to the door.

"BENJ'MIN! You came! Mom tolded me your daddy might bring you when he came to talk to my daddy. Did you know both of our daddy's are alphas?"

"Yeah I did! One day I'm  going to be alpha of my pack and your gonna be my luna." said the boy named Benjamin taking the little girl into his arms in a hug.

End of Flashback

Looking at the clock I had about three hours until I had to meet Benjamin at the clearing. So I grabbed my laptop and typed in the password. The blue circle started spinning as the computer logged me in. My desktop with a beautiful picture of Walker and I when we first met popped up with all of my icons. Clicking on the Internet I decided to watch some Youtube videos and check up on my facebook. I started stalking random people on my facebook and then decided to see if Walker had updated his status. Clicking onto his profile page I saw his status, ‘Missing my baby’ was posted at 9:10 a.m.  today from New York and above that was a picture of a bunch of guys and his arm around a brunette at a bar?


Benjamin’s POV

I showed up at the clearing right on time but Riley was no where to be found. I looked everywhere, I even ran to the creek that we first met at the other night. I sniffed around and knew she was never here. I ran back  to the clearing and waited for about ten more minutes and decided she was not going to show up. I couldn’t just leave, something felt wrong. I was running towards her house hoping she was there safe and sound.

As I neared her house the I heard faint crying. Oh, no what is wrong is she hurt? My wolf had to protect his mate. I ran to the door and did not even bother to use the handle, I kicked the door in  and found Riley on her knees crying with a laptop broken in half laying on the ground in the living room. I walked to her and held her as she cried on my shoulder dampening my blue v-necked shirt. “Riley, are you hurt?” I asked checking her body over to see if she was bleeding.
