McGonagall comes in, dragging Draco and Nicola by the collar of their robes. Nicola looks ready to kill and Draco looks equally mad. Both of them are looking ruffled and Draco's hair is messed up. I have a feeling I know what they were doing, and my stomach drops to the floor. And my suspicions are validated by the

look on McGonagall's face. She looks like she could breathe fire.

"I cannot believe you Nicola, what were you thinking?" snaps McGonagall, her lips thinner than I have ever seen them.

"I wasn't there by myself. Draco was with me and he was just as...enthusiastic," says Nicola, looking straight at me and giving me her best sneer. My hand twitches toward my wand. I can think of so many spells that will wipe that smile off of her face, but maybe now isn't the best time.

"Yes, but he isn't there entirely of his own free will, is he? Miss Granger has been telling me some interesting things, and I am inclined to believe her," says McGonagall having a seat behind her desk and conjuring 2 chairs behind Nicola and Draco that proceed to hit them from behind, knocking them down into the seat.

"Well she lied. Draco came to me this morning. I hadn't seen him all night. When would I have had time to do anything to him?" she asks looking smug.

"Must I remind you that the use of love potions is grounds for expulsion from Hogwarts," says McGonagall and Nicola blanches, turning an unattractive greenish color. "And even more, I will be forced to report you to the Ministry. I am sure they will have some questions for you."

"What if I tell you everything. I can give you the potion and tell you exactly how I gave it to him," says Nicola, looking like she may puke. Apparently staying at Hogwarts is a tad more important to her than sleeping with Draco.

"If you come clean and tell me everything, we may be able to avoid expulsion," shrugs McGonagall.

"I did it, I gave Draco the Amortentia. I put it in a Butterbeer and gave it to him last night. He didn't notice that it was me that gave it to him so he drank it. I have the rest of the potion in my room. You can have it so you can make the antidote," says Nicola.

"That would be a good start. Now, you will have detention every Saturday from now until the end of term exams. Also, you are losing 100 points from Slytherin and should you put another toe out of line, where these two are concerned, you will be expelled. Are we clear?" snaps McGonagall.

"Yes Professor," says Nicola quietly.

"Now go get me that potion," says McGonagall. Nicola instantly turns and leaves. Draco tries to follow her, but McGonagall stops him with her sharp voice.

"Stay where you are Mr Malfoy. In your state of love haze, do you understand what is going on?" asks McGonagall.

"I need to be with Nicola," he says. It feels like he is squeezing my lungs, making it hard to breathe, even if it is just the potion.

"No, you have been given a love potion. What you are feeling, it is just the potion. You have to try and keep a clear head," says McGonagall.

"Love potion?" he asks, sounding confused.

"Yes, and as soon as Nicola returns we will be headed to the hospital wing to try and set you to rights," says McGonagall.

"Nicola is coming back?" he asks brightly.

"I hate love potions," sighs McGonagall.

For the next few minutes the office is silent. Draco is staring at the door waiting for Nicola to return. I look up at the picture of Dumbledore who has been watching the exchange with an amused smile. When he notices my gaze, he gives me a quick wink.
