Story2

Dear readers, Look to the left and click the piano piece. It's what Darren is playing in this flashback!

 6/2/2001 -Unknown-

Her brush flew elegantly across the page, and her eyes scanned for any imperfection. The white of the canvas, was plastered with blue, green, red and other colors she lay-ed down with such intensity and perfection, I never knew existed. My hands rushed to keep up with her as my piano playing tried to accompany her skill. She stood with her back straight and head up. Swaying her hips slightly to the music, and allowing it to guide her and set white hot flames to her imagination. I glanced over every so often, as I succumbed to my lust. It was as if she was slowing time with her strokes, and I was lucky enough to view every detail she pressed into forming the painting. My fingers slammed the key board, and I hummed along to the sound it developed. (Hans simmers-Time).

It was marvelous; to breath the air she breathed and share the rush that powered her. We were both entwined by what we loved doing, and when we brought it together it produced absolute magic. She showcased her talent effortless, breaking no sweat as we stood under the hot fluorescent lights for a continuation of the performance. The audience was quiet and observant. I presumed they were as intoxicated by her gracefulness, as me.

As my song came to a conclusion, and her painting neared an end, we meant eye contact for a brief second. Her gaze burned through me, leaving a hole where she stole my heart away...effortlessly. Even the roar from the audience could not rip my joy away from my rugged features, she complemented so much on. We both faced the crowed and bestowed our warmest "Thank you's". I was so delighted; I was able to participate in this event with her.

However in seconds my happiness was revoked violently, as she fell to the floor through thin air, and began shaking. Fear escalated through me, as all sound grew still and I ran to her side. When I touched her skin it sent shivers down my spine. It was losing warmth... The paleness of her skin was such a surprise. I waited for her to jump up and fill herself with all the colors she so easily omitted. Taking her in my arms I begged for her to, speak to me. She muttered, lifelessly, "Drink in the music, and taste the bold colors." That was it. That was the last thing I ever heard my friend say. The rest was drowned out with my cries.
