Halloween Blues

"Alex and I are going to dance you okay here?" Dawn said holding on to Alex's arm. They were so cute together , they even dressed up as the phantom of the opera and Christine. I'm so happy for them, he's even living with us now because he has no where to go because he was the Bluestone pet basically.

"I'm fine" I smiled at them, they should be happy and not worry about me. Even if my thirst for blood is getting worse everyday.

I watched the couple go of into the crowd of monsters, zombies and vampires. I love halloween!

I looked down at my costume , I went out and bought stuff that could make me look like Nancy but I had no Sid. Nobody even knew who I was, if only Jasmine was here but I haven't seen her and the band since that night. I didn't want to go and visit them because it would remind me of him. I don't even know what I'm doing here I just want to run away, I can't even look at Buffy without nearly bursting into tears. I don't want to hurt her, I need to get away.

As I sat here alone I got asked to dance a couple of times from different boys but all I could think about was him. I just wanted him to burst through the door and say 'surprise, I'm alive' but I know that wont happen so I just have to keep my chin up and smile.

I watched the band who were on stage, they weren't as good as Nightlight but then again who could be?

"Hey guys we want to dedicate this song to the boy who sang on the speakers at school ! This is for you Ren where ever you are tonight we hope you have that girl with you" the lead singer of the band said through the microphone. This chocked me up !

"Last night a little dancer came dancin' to my door

Last night a little angel came pumping on the floor

She said "Come on baby I got a license for love

And if it expires pray help from above""

Everyone danced at the tune happily I looked around and smiled. People remember Ren for doing things nobody else had the guts to do! He was a brave person. He will be remembered in all these people's short lives and then they will tell their children, the memory of Ren will live on forever in my heart and in stories of brave deeds he did.

It's time for me to go ! I stood up from my table and started to make a move for the exit. Dawn won't mind she understands now she knows who I really am.

I started to move through the crowd of people and then I saw standing in the crowd Spike ! He was standing there in a Billy Idol outfit , he really could pass him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked , he smiled at me and pulled me close.

"I'm not letting you be alone on Halloween! I want you to have fun on the vampires holiday of the year!" Spike said as we started to dance. He so nice , I feel like he is the one who really understands me "I know you are probably thinking about skipping town but don't your mother did it and it only made things worse, I will help you get through this"

If you have at least one person who is there for you it can make a difference , Ren is gone but now I need to look to the future. Make my life worth living because I'm going to be around for a long time.
