The chase

The knock on my window pulled me out of my thoughts.  

"Hey let me in its hot out here!!" My only friend Nick shouted.

I ran to the window as fast as I could in my 3 inch high heels. "Shhhh!! You know what that witch would do to us if she found out you were up her?" My aunt Amanda has always wanted to be alpha, but it was my mom my dad fell in love with my mom not her. And she intended to keep the position of alpha, even if it ment keeping me away from all wolfs that could be , or lead me to my mate. So for now I was the soon to be alpha prisoned in her gray room. No one but Nick was willing to take the chance to talk to me, we known each other since we were in diapers.

"Come on I'm sure that old bats ears are long gone........ Along with her sanity."

I couldn't help but giggle. It was true her hearing was damage in a "meeting," with the hunters years ago. That was one of the only reasons Nick could manage to sneak in my room to hang out, and talk. Our giggles were interupted by my aunts shrill shout,

" Alice get your a*s sown here now! Aren't you ready yet girl!"

" Quick get out," I pushed Nick to the window before my meat headed aunt went up the stairs.

For once he listened when I told him to do something, and he was out of the window shifting into his brown wolf once he was onto the forest. 

In the next second Amanda burst in with her horish red dress that practically showed more skin than some bathing suits. ( incase you couldn't tell her aunt was one of those hor*s that were after the alpha.)

" Come on! Your just like your mother! FYI honey neither of you could and can do anything with those faces!" She yelled as she grabbed my hair pulling me out of the room.

I swear if she wasn't the only family I had left I would'be clawed her eyes out! But she's the only one I got.............

We arrived at my parents memorial. It was beautiful, it was in the middle of a butterfly garden with all kinds of flowers blooming around.

"Let's get this over with." My aunt sneered. For how she was acting you'd think she would have to actually do something other than show up. She was always like this when ever it was about something other than herself, or if it means sh would have to take me out of the house and risk my finding my mate.

"Come along ready Alice!" She said in that high pitched voice.  

" Coming!" I said "aunty dearest" I muttered under my breath, luckly she didn't notice cause she went to the nearest guy to slut it up. She didn't care if it was disrespectful. That was the thing she didn't care.  

*mhmmm I wonder if she would care if I died that night* I thought even though I knew the answer. She would be estatic! She wouldn't have to worry about me stepping up to claim my position as alpha she would be all her life. 

The bell rang signaling the offical start of the memorial. As we all walked up to the life size rock figures of my mom and dad.
