I believe there is nothing more relaxing than Mother Nature.
Her calming lullaby and beautiful scenery create a peacefulness that cannot be replicated.
I believe observing Mother Nature creates fulfillment.
When walking along the shoreline of a beach, I did my best to listen and absorb the nature surrounding me... crickets chirping... cicadas cackling... waves crashing... my ears were flooded with their distinct noises. The hushed sounds pulsed through the night air, circling around my head, making it seem as if all the chattering people and their whirring machines had somehow become non-existent. All is still.
I believe everyone can benefit from Mother Nature.
Imagine walking on a beach, listening to the subtle noises of Mother Nature. Upon closing your eyes for a second, like magic you are in a whole other world. Suddenly, everything you ever knew is gone. Mother Nature decides everything now. There are no alarm clocks; Mother Nature will wake you up with the sunrise. There are no curfews; Mother Nature establishes bedtime the arrival of the moon. There are no televisions; Mother Nature provides plenty of entertainment. There are no vehicles; Mother Nature does not require traveling. There is no violence; Mother Nature possesses nothing to fight over.
I believe Mother Nature provides relief from stresses of city life.
Across the world, tourists search for the perfect vacation spot: a location equipped with beautiful natural surroundings, and of course, a room with a view. The majestic landscapes of mountainous regions, grassy country sides, and deep blue oceans all enable Mother Nature the power to comfort and calm. Mother Nature is beautiful... she is gentle... she is soothing.
I believe Mother Nature is the origin of all music.
Perhaps all musical instruments were crafted once upon a time, to replicate the beauteous sounds of Mother Nature. Many a restless night I turn to the music of Mother Nature for help. Her soothing sounds calm my mind, erasing wandering thoughts. Mother Nature does what my favorite music cannot; she sends me quickly into a deep, peaceful slumber. I believe Mother Nature is the perfect lullaby.
I believe relaxation would be impossible without the sights and sounds of Mother Nature. There would be no way for us to withdraw from the industrial world and its mechanical shrieks... there would be no way to retreat, relax, and recharge peacefully.
I believe Mother Nature is a type of coping mechanism essential to human life.
In this technological age, when life becomes stressful we typically turn to electronic devices to relax. But does watching televisions, listening to iPods, surfing the internet, and talking on cell phones really count as “relaxing”? They appear as occupying tasks: television mainly utilizes vision, iPods affect the ears, computers require constant hand movement for typing and clicking, and talking involves using the voice.
This I believe: rely on Mother Nature; her endless supply of tranquility and peace can work wonders. It’s about time for everyone to wake up and smell the roses.
