You Already Did Pay

You feel invisible even though you're well seen

Laugh, laugh, laugh the tears away

While everyone feels keen

You sit, stare and wish you could stay

Can't you say anything to wash the past clear of sin?

Locked inside a cage

You built you own pin

Wish you could flip to lifes last page

Can't seem to break free

Hide and cry until they have gone

Why can't life just stop and park

"Why me?" you said

You ask "Will they miss me?"

"Should i go somewhere and think?"

"Why can't i get my life clean?"

"Why can't i go back to the days when I liked the color pink?"

You come to a cliff

Jump or turn back?

You're about to fall stiff

Let's just add this memory to the stack

You have hope

Just very little

The only word you hear is "Nope"

Just like old bones you are very brittle
