Mated to the Alpha

I finished!!!!! I was so pumped to start writing yesturday that i got almost two pages done so i finished today. Thank u all who've been reading!

As we arrive at the pack house my instincts tell me to just run back to my original home where it’s safe but my wolf fights me with everything she has. Jake could clearly sense my hesitation as he casually places his hand on mine and gives me an encouraging smile.

            “Don’t be worried, you know most of them already,” he says as he gets out of his car.

            I take a deep and get out of the car. As we walk up to the house I realize it’s gigantic! As we entered through the doors the entryway was sky high and with rooms that travel to who knows where. It’ll probably take me a week just to memorize this place. Jake waves me forward so I follow him into a living where everyone is waiting for my arrival. And Jake was right, surprise. But I do know most of them from school but I don’t really associate with them. The only two I really know are Connor and Kristie. But I do recognize Liam, Hunter, Kyle, Ashley, and Heather. I wave shyly at them and Kristie is sure not on board for my welcoming party as she just scowls at me and turns her head away in disgusted. I would’ve jumped down her throat but I felt a hand rest on the small on my back.

            “Kristie you respect your new pack member and your next Alpha female,” Jake says sternly and in control.

            Everyone seems surprised and shocked as they converse among themselves. Kristie’s mouth was wide open, “Her? Out of everyone she had to be your mate.”

            “You’re just mad because she had Connor wrapped around her little finger,” Ashley spoke up to my defense. She flashed me and gentle smile as she got up and hugged me tightly. “I’m Jake’s sister and I guess I’ll be your sister-in-law one day.”

            I laugh awkwardly, “Maybe one day, far away from now.”

            Ashley laughed, “I highly doubt that. Jake usually gets what he wants and he’ll do anything to get it.”

            “It’s true,” Liam chimed in.

            “So who’s all mated here?” I asked as I took a seat on a lounge chair as Jake took a spot beside me.

            “I’m mated to that pretty lady over there,” Liam said as he pointed towards Ashley. She blushes before she walks back over to him and gives him a kiss.

            “Did you guys mark each other yet?” I asked.

            “No but it’ll probably be soon,” Ashley says as she wraps her arm around Liam’s and rests her head on his upper arm.

         I smile and wish I could get someone like that. A pang of hurtfulness runs through me as I realize what I just said. I look beside me at Jake who is looking at me longingly. Maybe he’s thinking the same thing. I feel the need to reach out to him and give him that certainty that I’ll always be his and will always love him but I can’t just come out and say that. I barely know the guy. Maybe in good time.

        “I’m mated to the gorgeous Heather,” Hunter says as he pulls Heather onto his waist and starts to make out with her.

       “Can’t you guys just give it a break for a second?” Liam asks as he whips a pillow at the two.

       Heather laughs and says, “Hey, it’s nice to meet you. I’m glad Jake finally found his mate. At least he won’t be moping around here any more.”
