Long Live (Sequel to Payton Swift)

I laugh at Acacia's tweet - so far, it's been my favourite tweet! It's finally my eighteenth birthday, I've been waiting for this ever since I turned seventeen ... I'm really impatient I'm sorry. Anyway, at the moment Taylor and I were baking - it's a our birthday tradition!

"So, has Niall called yet?" she asks, as she puts another tray of cookies in the oven. I shake my head, and eat a second spoonful of cookie dough.

"He hasn't, but the other four boys have all tweeted or texted me saying happy birthday, so that counts for something, right?" I ask and Taylor shrugs, as this topic is one she had no expertise in.

"Maybe you should call him?" she suggests, completely unsure of what to say. I nod my head and I'm about to call Niall when the Skype music goes off in the background. "Was that your laptop?" she asks and I shake my head.

"It's yours," I tell her and check on the tray of cookies in the oven. I hear Taylor run over and press something on her laptop, then I hear his voice.

"Hey Taylor, is Payton there?" he asks and I run into the living room.

"NIALL!" I yell and he laughs as I rush over to the laptop, a huge smile on his face once he actually sees my face.

"Happy birthday babe," Niall tells me and I smile widely. Taylor smiles as well, but then goes back to the kitchen to continue baking and to also give Niall and I some alone time.

"Thank you baby!"

We talk for a while longer, just about our everyday lives - his being more interesting than mine obviously.

"So back to you," Niall says and I giggle. He's so cute, literally the cutest person on the planet. "What are your plans for today?" he questions.

I sigh before answering. "Taylor, Acacia, Bethany and I are just gonna hang out here, eat a lot of desserts and just watch some movies. Not that interesting," I say, shrugging at the end.

"You should have a big party! You're turning eighteen," he exclaims and I laugh at his reaction.

"I had a big party for my seventeenth, Niall. I don't need anything special for this year," I laugh, and he just shakes his head at me. "Next time we're in the same city, you can take me on a big fancy date and that can be for my birthday, alright?" I suggest and Niall takes a moment to think it through before nodding his head and agreeing with me.

An hour and a half later, I was done talking to Niall on Skype and was now eating way more than I should be.

"This is the best cupcake I've ever had," Bethany says, a huge smile on her face before she takes another bite of the chocolate cupcake she was holding. Taylor laughs and quickly says thanks before eating more cookies. Taylor and I made so many cookies and cupcakes that I'm not sure how we're gonna eat them all to be honest.

"Oh yeah, Payton I forgot to tell you this but Jc, Kian and Sam were in town so I invited them over to join us," Taylor tells me and I nod my head, perfectly fine with those three boys joining us.

As long as Selena was never invited to any party or any event that I throw, I'm okay.

"That's fine with me," I tell her and stuff another chocolate chip cookie in my mouth. "Just as long as they bring me presents," I state, a huge smile on my face while the other three girls laugh. We talk about Jc, Kian and Sam for a little bit, stopping when the doorbell rings - that thing is pretty loud to be honest. As Taylor gets up to answer it, Bethany, Acacia and I take this opportunity to scroll through our Twitter feeds and tweet a few people.

Well .. at least, that's what Acacia and Bethany did. I on the other hand tweeted about my birthday because hey it's only once a year, let me have this moment. I also tweet about my Skype call with Niall, and I include a picture that Taylor took of us while we were talking.

"I SHIP YOU AND NIALL SO HARD!" Acacia yells and I just start laughing.

"I'm the same as Acacia, you and Niall are the cutest couple. No lie," Bethany says, completely serious. I just shake my head at my crazy friends and go back to eating, hearing a lot of talking from the entryway.

"Payton you're going to love this!" Taylor calls out, walking into the living room seconds later. I turn my head just as Austin - my brother -, Jc, Kian and Sam all walk in with arms carrying a ton of gifts. Immediately, I jump and run over, taking some presents from Kian and placing them on the couch. I then just sit on the couch and look at the presents, about to scream because I was not expecting this at all.

"Where did all these come from?" I ask excitedly and everyone else laughs while Austin clears his throat.

"Mom went to the post office to just to see if you had anything in your P.O box ... long story short they had to open to empty boxes to put at least three-quarters of all this away."

My eyes light up at Austin's answer.

"You mean ... they actually wanted to send me stuff?"

"Yup," Jc nods his head and my smile grows wider.

"Everyone? The Directioners, Swifties, Beliebers ... all of them?" I ask and this time everyone in the room nods their heads.

"I told you everyone adored you!" Acacia yells and then attacks me with a hug. We all laugh and I wipe a stray tear off my cheek.

"This is the best birthday ever!" I say and then stuff another cookie in my mouth before opening a present.

I didn't know that so many people loved me.

I love this feeling.

I love being happy.

omg guys iT'S THE SEQUEL TO PAYTON SWIFT !!!!!! IM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!!

but yeah i'm sorry that it's short but i didn't want to overwhelm y'all!!! im so happy omg!!! slowly i'm going to be increasing chapter length, i don't wanna just dump all these long chapters on you guys just yet.

anyway i love you all SO SO SO SO SOOOOOO MUCH THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT !!!
