Thirty Days.

Chapter One - Lucy's POV

As I made my way to a seat, some people, -who I asume were his family- were crying.

I sat next to Chrisie and Jessica,some people were doing their honours...

"Hi, you're  Ashton's friend?" Chrisie asked.

I nodded and looked at Jessica that had tears in her eyes.

Jessica was Ashtons ex- they broke up 5 months ago.

After the funeral service:-

My parents had left earlier and told me to take a cab home.

I was about to walk to the other side of the road until I saw a dark and tall figure walking towards me.

In an instant he was right next to me.

"Lucy, Lucy, Lucy." He tsk'd.

I shivered in fear as I caught his breath at my neck.

"W-Who are you?" I asked.

"Demon, I take a person's death when they no longer need it." He chuckled lightly and his face was a few inches away from mine.

"Ashton, he was a really good boy. But he should've done it." 

As he mentioned Ashton's name I froze.

"D-D-Done what?" I asked because I knew for myself that Ashton was a nice guy and he wouldn't do anthing wrong.

"Oh you know, like ignoring, killing, murder." He whispered as he circles around me.

I actually had to pinch myself.

"Ouch." I said as it happened.

"What's the deal? Leave me alone." I said pointing a finger to his face.

He pushed my finger away with his and I let my arm hang low.

"Fiesty. I like that. It's exactly what I needed." He said walking away.

"Wait!" I yelled making him turn around.

"Well, here is a deal. You will have to go back Thrity Days and save Ashton from commiting suicide."

"and?"

"You will get what you've always wanted to find." He continued.

Hmm. that is weird. What have I always wanted to find?

"So, would you save him or not?" He placed his hands on his neck taking a few steps backwords.

"But why thirty days?" I asked curious.

"He thought about for thirty days. Maybe you could change his mind?" He said as I followed him.

"Why me?" I ask.

"You're like sunlight to darkness." 

As he said that, I let the darkness took over me.
