My heart skipped a beat as our eyes met, mine with his warm grey orbs. He smiles, the warmth from his gaze flooding into me. His smile made me feel secure, no matter what happened.
The white shirt he wore complimented well with his eyes. He looked like a Greek God which made it difficult to snap out of the outrageous fantasies I was having. Every girl in the class drooled uncontrollably over him. If Sam were here, she would’ve drooled too.
The boys, on the other hand weren’t interested as such. They weren’t gay but found the girly whispers about how hot he was slightly irritating. Jay, who was looking in my direction rolled his eyes and ran a hand through his hair, making it messier.
“Jealous?” I mouthed to him.
"You wish!" He replied rolling his eyes.
I smirked even more looking at his irate looks.
“Class, I see there's a new face in the class.” Mr. Clarke said as he looked at me. I sunk down in my seat, not wanting him to ask me to introduce myself to him me. I knew if he’d seen me he’d definitely ask me to introduce myself first, thinking back to when I first bumped into him.
"I don't see any new face, Mr. Clarke." A girl from the last seat said while looking around the class.
"Nor do I, sir." Another guy said repeating the actions of the girl.
He gave me one of his broad smiles as I continued to shake my head. His eyes never left mine. Speaking aloud, pointing towards me, he said,
“You there. Third desk, fourth row. Let’s hear your name.” He leans on his desk with confidence as he waited for me to stand up and start with my introduction.
"Oh, that! That's Alina, sir." The same guy said. "She's been bunking school for a few days." He said looking at me and smirking.
"Yeah, right." I said as I rolled my eyes and stood up reluctantly.
“Um…Mr. Clarke?” I began. “I'm pretty sure the class knows me.” I said suddenly oblivious to why I was standing in the first place. It seemed as if his eyes were hypnotising, like I couldn’t remember the event before.
"I'm sure the class knows you too, Alina. But, I don't." He said raising his eyebrow and waiting for me to start.
"You just said my name. So, you know me." I said smartly.
"Smartass, eh?" So, he doesn't mind watching his language. We've got a cool teacher!
"So, what do I need to say and why?" I said impatiently. My chair was calling me, not my fault.
He shook his head in disbelief, grinning, “You just need to mention your name and your hobbies. I only asked that two minutes ago. And that is because you weren't there for a whole week and missed on the introduction class.” He rolls his eyes at my response.
I still felt awkward about him seeing me cry, I needed to overcome that. Shaking myself and standing up with confidence, I looked at him and said, “So you don’t need any personal details about me huh?” I smirked at him with confidence.
He blushes blatantly remembering our first meet but regains his composure quickly but not fast enough for me not to notice it.
The small tinge of red on his cheeks gave me enough confidence to continue.
“No personal details” he clears his throat.
“Morning, Mr. Clarke, my name is Alina Roberts.” I give him a sweet smile before continuing, “My hobbies….let me see, sleeping. I love sleeping, watching random soaps on the television and making bubbles with soap-foam, so on and so on. I’m done can I sit down now?” I get a few snorts in response to my crappy answer as I begin to lower my butt onto my seat.
“Are you sure that’s it Ms Roberts? Because I thought crying was one of your hobbies too.” He raises his eyebrows and looks at me challengingly.
I cursed him mentally. Evil jerk, why he had to mention that there and then I don’t know. He’s going to pay back badly for that. I scowled at him and sat down.
“Thank you Ms Roberts, And now we shall continue with our class.” He said nodding his head at the class.
As soon as the he started teaching my mind was immediately flooded with thoughts about him (my stalker). I tried to divert my mind from the thought but it was nearly impossible to do so.
My vision began to slowly turn blurry. Everyone in the room become smudges of colour.
I could then only hear echoes of voices, not understanding a single word they were trying to interpret. The last thing I noticed before being engulfed into the blackness was a muscular figure, calling my name repeatedly. The figure looked around helplessly. Beside me was a lean silhouette, shaking me, trying to get me to open my eyes. The muscular figure lifted me with ease into his arms before everything suddenly went black. I’d blacked out. I was now numb.
