The only thing Sal wants is to make the basketball team. Her older brother is the captain of the boys’ varsity team, so it only makes sense that basketball runs through her blood. Except for the fact that it doesn’t. Bring in Ezra, a cute senior with a mysterious backstory and a better jump shot than Jordan. He decides to help Sal make the team, whatever it takes: late nights in the gym alone, LOTS of contact, and a little more-than-friendly bonding. They both want Sal to make the team, but at the end of the day, all that really matters is the swish.

A/N: Okey dokey, y'all! Here it is. Another basketball story. I know that nothing will ever come close to TGWWJ plot-wise, but I promise that this is MUCH better writing-wise. So, like, some of y'all have been asking me to write another basketball story since I finished TGWWJ, and I'm finally doing it. Except this is a short story, and it'll be around twelve or so parts, just like Scripted. Unlike everything else that I've written, this is in...PRESENT TENSE. I've never really written anything in present tense except for, like, journal entries and essays, so it's a bit terrifying. But this story needs to be written in present tense, because it's a sports story, and sports don't happen in past tense - they happen in present tense. So, yeah. We're gonna present tense it up. Leggo. I know the plot is cliche. Oh well. If any of y'all wanna make me a better cover, I wouldn't say no. Kay. Thanks for reading<3
