You and I,

We live in two separate worlds,

Often I've wondered,

Now I know that it's so,

You live in one that is high,

I live in another that is low.

We don't hang out with the same people,

As you're in a different class,

My life is so simple,

Yet yours is one much more advanced.

We don't go to the same parties,

Heck, what do I know of those,

As you throw those in your fancy mansion,

In your glamourous and expensive clothes.

As I sit here I wonder,

What do I have to compete

With your guy and his daddy's wealth

How can I make you see,

As I have nothing but my health,

While he can offer the world to you,

Leaving me thinking,

WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO ?

Because I can't take you out shopping,

To the far reaches of the world,

I don't even have that shiny car,

To drive you up to the mall,

All I can give you is my love,

And a promise that one day you'll have it all.
