sorry it took so long, wasn't quite sure what to write to build up Toby's and Luke's relationship. think next chapter we'll take a look at Val's point of view XD!

Chapter 6 Toby POV

I swallowed the lump in my throat as I slammed the door of the car and stared at the large sized building with people flooding

through the doors and standing around their cars. I jumped when I felt the cool hand nudge my shoulder but forced a smile

when I turned and saw Luke’s reassuring face. He began walking towards the building and I quickly followed close behind

with my head down as I heard girls talking about Luke like he was a piece of meat, sometimes being a wolf has its annoying

factors as no matter how quietly they spoke I could still hear them, and I didn’t want to. Luke could no doubt hear them too,

but his face stayed cool and relaxed as we reached the door and strode into a huge corridor, full of humans.

“lets go and find our lesson timetable form the office” he spoke quietly compared to the noise in the hallway but knew I could

hear him. Just as we began walking I realised that I didn’t know how old Luke and Val were, I mean to humans.

“what year are you in?” I asked and they slowed to a halt before looking at me,

“where both seniors, so where a year above you” Val answered “and you guys can go to your lessons or whatever but I’m off”

he smirked as he walked over to a large group of girls and began chatting away, and even laughing. That was not Val.

I looked away once he was engulfed into the frantic crowd of girls, no wonder though. Val is good looking, but has a sour

personality at times, but I guess they didn‘t know that. I turned back to meet Luke’s dark eyes with large black pupils.

“E12, English is that way. Its your first lesson.” Luke smiled handing me a piece of paper and pointing down the long hallway

“ Thanks, I guess I’ll see you later then” I murmured looking down the corridor away from Luke’s stare.

“ Be careful Toby” he whispered inches from my ear as he began to walk away from me. I felt a small blush creep onto my

pale complexion. I swallowed hard as his husky voice filled my ears as he said my name. snapping out of it, my eyes darted

Around at the groups of students staring at me, I quickly flicked my bangs over my eyes and began speed walking in the

direction of English not looking up to meet any humans eyes.

I looked at the open door which had a small plaque with ‘E12’ engraved on, and I stared in. there was a mixture of boys and

Girls sat on desks, at seats some standing huddled together, and a boy with jet black hair and blue eyes sat at the window

with headphones around his neck tapping his foot on the floor. I stepped into the room as the icy blue eyes pierced mine, but

not with hate, and I felt the boy roam his eyes over my body, until his eyes met mine and he smirked a sincere yet cocky

smile.

Luke POV

I hope Toby’s ok. I was in history, with a small girl with a long swept fringe across her face and eyes highlighted in black

make-up beside me listening to music quietly, which I could actually here quite Well, which didn’t bother me as it slightly

drowned out the rather large lady at the front babbling historic facts we needed to Remember from WW2. I had no need to

pay attention but even if I wanted to I couldn’t all I was thinking about, or more like Worrying about was how Toby was

getting on. It was the lesson before lunch already but I hadn’t seen him in the corridors, And I definitely haven’t seen Val. But

Val could take care of himself, but Toby. I know he’s a wolf and could take on a human with ease unless they were huge, but

I was sure I had smelt a vampire and another wolf already here. Cracking my knuckles I looked at the clock, only ten minutes

left. Never have I felt the strong need to keep someone this safe an close to Me, but Toby is just so innocent and cute. Did I

say cute? Well I guess I’m not really lying.

Toby POV
