*STORY*
"Mother! I don't want to go back to Joplin!" I cried. " We have too. Your Father got his old job back." My mother said. I started crying " Why mom?" I asked. " I thought when you were 9 you didn't want to even leave Joplin. You cried and cried, because you didn't want to leave your old best friend Christofer Ingle." " I know, but I have a life here! With all my friends like Jessica and Josh! Back in Joplin I dont have a life I was 9 years old!" I yelled at her. " I don't care. Be happy you're going back. Maybe you could be friends with Christofer again. We are moving back to the same house, and if you are lucky he will live in the same house as he did when we lived out there before." " Haha as if Chris will even remember who I am." I cried. " You don't know that. Now go pack the rest of your things." "Fine." And that was it the last word I would have in say about going back to Joplin. I walked up to my bedroom feeling defeated. I looked around to see what I had left. All it was, was my Cd's, alarm clock, DVDs , my books, and a couple of my journals. I grabbed a box from the corner of my bedroom and packed the rest of my things. Then brought that last box down stairs and put it with the rest of my things, which soonish would be pack into the moving truck. I walked into the kitchen looking for something to eat. "Jeez when will they learn im a vegetarian." I said to myself. I finally choose something which its always the same a Gatorade and a Oreo cookie. I walked over to the window, and saw Josh and Macie running over to my house. " How could I ever leave them?" I thought. " BROOKIE!" Josh and Macie yelled. " Yes?" I said. " We are gonna miss you so much!!!" They yelled. " I know, I know. I will miss you guys too. I promise I'll come visit when I get my licenses to drive " I said.
" You better, or I'll hunt you down and drag you back here." Josh said.
" Ok.. I will"
" Brooklyn! Its time to go! " Mother yelled.
" Im Sorry guys, I'll call both of you when I get to Joplin." I cried.
" Ok, Bye for now cupcake" Josh said.
"Yea Cupcake! Ta ta for now! I love you!!!" Macie Yelled.
Josh and Macie walked away I watched them until I was no longer able to see them, Its hard leaving your best friends. I turned around and got into my moms car.
"Damn, this is going to be a long drive" I thought.
*10 hours later*
"Can we stop at a hotel and sleep for the rest of the night?" I asked my mom.
" Yeah, I guess so, its pretty late." Mother said.
" Well, duh its 2 a.m." I liked being a smartass.
We drove for about another hour or so until we got to Denver, from there was 14 or 15 hours left.
(Im going to skip the whole hotel scene, they slept and got up supper early the next)
