Chapter 5

Snipe: You never told me your story.

Ghost: Like I told you before there nothing to tell, and it not really a story it more like an early choice. 

Snipe: Choice? 

Ghost: Yeah. A choice...between standing by and watching the world go wrong or do something about it. So yeah it was just a choice I made when I was a kid. Nothing more nothing less.

Snipe: I guess you have your own way.

The next morning we continued our mission. The ship itself was working again. I decided to use the com to contact Wolf and the others Black knights. I reported to Wolf on what was going on in our situation. 

Wolf: I understand. Continued with the mission as plan. Bring Markus in Dead or alive. 

Codex: What about Kri?

Wolf: Don’t worry about him. Just focus on Markus for now.

Ghost: Understood. (the communication ended.) 

(Base on the look on wolf face I couldn’t help but feel as if he wanted to say something more to me and the others, but didn’t.) I thought to myself. 

Codex: Don’t worry about it, AIDA finish tracing the hacking code. You’ll find him in old part of the city.

Snipe: Then let’s go get him.

Belkon old city:

Jumping through the city by rooftop on recon. I notice movement near one of the building so I decided for me and snipe to go for a closer look. As we got closer it was clear that this building was a meeting spot. Just then Codex radioed me.

Codex: Major, use your cloaking.

Ghost: Cloaking?

Codex: Yeah I told you guys about it earlier before the mission. The download just completed itself. So now you can use it.

Ghost: Roger.

Me and Snipe switch on the cloaking device. Then the suit started to morph to mirror like state, making the light warps around me and her and projects a hologram of the wall behind it over top of the bent light, rendering me and Snipe invisible. (“This is Fucking cool.”) I thought to myself. I started to open a near by window and went inside the building. We were up on a balcony looking down on what was going on. There was 10 armed men I could see. We decided to hold our position to see what information we could gather from them. We saw Markus walking into the room. I saw Snipe was trying to hold her composure. I place my hand over her shoulder and told her to stay calm we need to wait first then we’ll attack. She just nodded then look on. We started to listen in on what was being said. 

Markus: Okay I see that your all here so lets get star...

One of the other men started to speak interrupting Markus. 

Unknown man: Your not the boss. Where Kri?

Out of no where Markus pulled out his gun and shot the man that spoke out.

Markus: Do anyone else want to speak?

Everyone: ...

Markus: I didn’t think so. Kri went to carry out an other stage of his plan. What I need you to do is to hunt down two member of a unit that have been very bothersome for quite some time. 

Ghost: (An other stage of his plan? What the hell are you planing Kri?) 

Snipe: They most be P.M.C. (whispered) 

Ghost: By the look of the gear their packing I think your right. (whispered)

Snipe: Why the hell a group of PMC working with Kri and Markus, Don’t they normally work for Army and government? (whispered)

Ghost: Yeah they do. There something we’re not seeing here. (whispered)
