Zach’s POV
*Two months Later*
Alice and aren’t really a thing. We say “I love you” a lot and give each other kisses but I still go around and fuck girls. I love to fuck, do don’t judge. I want to stop to I can prove to Alice that I can change. That I can be the guy she wants me to be. Not the guy who sleeps around with different girls, I want to be the guy who can be committed just to one girl. Good thing her and I are going out to a movie tonight. I was at home laying in bed thinking about how her lips tasted on my lips. She tasted sweet. So fucking sweet. I smiled to myself and looked at the clock. It was only five. I’m picking Alice up at nine. I grabbed my phone and called her.
“Hello?” She said and I smiled.
“Hey Alice” I said and I heard her smile.
“What’s up?” She asked.
“Nothing. Just laying in bed bored.”
“Lucky you. I have to do homework” I heard her groan. I laughed.
“Well miss grumpy ready for our date tonight?”
“Hell yea!” She yelled and laughed.
“Good, oh and Scoot and Val are coming if that’s okay” I said slightly nervous.
“Yeah that’s perfectly fine.” She said and I smiled.
“Well imma let you go so you can finish your homework and get ready.” I said and she sighed.
“Can we talk for a little longer?” She asked and I smiled.
“Yeah, sure.”
“What movie are we going to?” She asked and I laughed.
“That my love is a surprise.” I said and she growled
“Tell me.” She said.
“No.”
“If you don’t I won’t give you a kiss” She said and I laughed.
“We both know that I will get one.” I heard her giggle and her mother yell in the background.
“Sorry I have to go, but i’ll see you tonight. Just meet me there.” She said and I sighed.
“Okay Alice. I love you baby girl.”
“I love you too” She said and hung up.
I smiled and put my phone on my chest and looked up at the ceiling. I soon found myself drifting off into a deep sleep.
“ZACH GET YOU ASS UP!” I heard Jake yell and I shot up and looked at the clock. 10:05!?
“FUCK!” I yelled and got dressed and tried to call Alice but it went straight to voicemail. No. No. NO. It rang again and it went straight to voicemail again so I left a message.
“Alice, i’m so sorry i’m late. Please pick up!” I said and hung up and got to the movie theater. I saw that it was starting to rain and I sighed and parked the truck. When I got out I saw Alice.
“Alice!” I called out and ran over to her and spun her around, but it wasn’t Alice. It was Alex.
“Hey baby!” She said smiling and hugging me. I pushed her off harshly.
“I’m not your baby. I’m not your anything.” I said and she smirked.
“That’s not what She thinks.” She pointed over and I turned around and saw Alice. I saw something in her eyes, but I couldn’t read it. I quickly walked over to her and put my hands on her cheeks.
“I’m not with her. I thought she was you!” I said and she laughed slightly.
“I know. Alex is waiting for Jake.” She said and I sighed in relief.
“How bout we go get something to eat. I over slept and haven’t ate since lunch.” I said and she nodded. I put my arm around her shoulders and she put her arm around my waist. We walked to my truck and got in. She looked at me and I looked at her back smiling. I then put my hand on her cheek and stroked it with my thumb. I felt her lean into my hand and I leaned forward and kissed her. I felt her kiss me back and I smiled into the kiss. When she pulled away I looked at her confused.
“What are we?” She asked and I smiled at her.
“I don’t know about you but I would love it if you were my girl.” I said and she smiled. I kept stroking her cheek as she smiled at me.
“I would love to be your girl as well” She said and I quickly leaned in and kissed her again. I kissed her hard and eager. I put my hands on her waist and pulled her into my lap so she was pressed against me. I kissed her until we couldn’t breath and when we drew back I felt her put her head on my shoulder. I kissed her head and heard a tap at my window and I looked over and it was Alex. I rolled my window down.
“What the hell do you want?” I asked and she frowned.
“That slut huh?” she asked and I felt my hands dig into Alice’s hips.
“She’s not a slut, you are. She will never be a slut” I hissed and she laughed.
“Did she tell you what happened last summer?” She asked and I tilted my head to the left confused.
“Shut you face Alex” I heard Alice say coldly.
“Why haven’t you told him that you were raped?” Alex asked and I felt Alice pull back from my body.
“I was gonna tell him bitch” She said and rolled the window up. I looked at Alice but she looked down.
“Alice what was she talking about?” I said sounding hurt.
“Last year at my aunts farm I was raped.” She whispered and I left something hot drip on my arm. I tilt her head up and saw that she was crying. I felt my heartbreak into a million little pieces.
“A-Alice” I stuttered.
“He-he hurt me so bad. Sometimes he comes into my dreams even if I’m not thinking about him. He just pops up” She said with her voice cracking. I pulled her to me and put her head back on my shoulder and held her. I put my hand on her head and stroked her hair trying to calm her down. When I heard her sobs quiet down I pushed her away from me slightly and kissed her again.
“I love you Alice. I will always protect you no matter fucking what. When I find the guy who did this to you I will beat him so he never does it again. I promise you, I will protect and take care of you for as long as I live” I said and kissed her again. I will never break that promise either.
They girl I love is now finally mine.
