Chapter 3:

What I came to was a dimly lit room. I looked around, finding no one.

“Hello” I called out, getting no response. I walked over to an old worn out door. Slowly, I opened it. I could feel no presence, but I did find a note, nailed to the wall.

“Looks like you have found the building, good job, Adrianna, now you have to find me, Good Luck!”

It read. I turned over to the back, only finding more.

“Just to give you a clue, I am no where near here, I’m not in Monosgrove, but somewhere further”

So she’s not in Monosgrove, but she can’t be too far away could she?

I folded up the note and ran outside. But I was stopped dead in my tracks; There in front of me was about 20 vampires. Good thing I was loaded. I pulled out my pistol and blew one of the vampires head off.

I pointed the gun at the others and one by one, I blew their heads off. I turned towards the last one, going to blow his brains out, but he stopped me.

“Please don’t shoot me, I beg” I heard the man say.

‘Why shouldn’t I? You’re just out to destroy me” I sneered back, pointing the gun to his head.

“Because I can help you find Eva, she sent all of us here” He wept.

“How many more are there of you?”

“I-I don’t know, you know, your husband, Ramair was in on all of this too”

“So Eva is that blonde chick who was always standing near Ramair?”

“No, that was her sister, Gabriella.”

“So Eva is human?”

“No, she’s a vampire”

“Do you know who created her?”

‘Ramair”

“How long ago?”

“Centuries!”

“Come with me” I said taking the man’s hand and leading him into the forest. He could possibly give me the information I needed.

“Where—“He started to say, but before he could get the rest of his sentence out, we were already at my cabin.

“Guess this answers my question” he mumbled as I led him inside.

“Oh and might I add, you are a beautiful woman. My names David” David said, kissing my hand.

“Why thank you sir, you are one handsome young lad’ I winked.

“Okay, so if we are going to fight Eva, or whatever, then we are going to need this” I said, pulling him down to the basement.

“And what is “This” “David questioned.

“This” I Laughed walking over to the fridge.

“What is it? It smells delicious.”

“It’s Coretta’s blood. The oldest blood is the most powerful; you do know who she is right?

“Yeah, before Eva turned me, I knew all about you and her”

“Okay” I said handing him one of the three bags that I had.

Coretta had been killed by some vampire hunter, I was with her at the time. Her and I became close, I mean, we had to, We would always have some type of bond going on because she is my creator. Luckily that day on May the 12th of  the year 1717, I was able to escape the vampire hunters and go out on my own, as she was being toted off she was screaming “Don’t make another vampire, you hear me!?” Over and over again until we were both miles and miles apart.

I drank the other two, already feeling the blood work its magic. “All we need now is rest” I sad, leading him back up the stairs. Passing a blood stained Gloria on the way, I had to chuckle to myself. Going up the stairs, I led David into my bedroom.

“You can sleep here” I said, walking out.

“Wait, My Lady, Come and sleep with me” David said, patting the spot next to him. I thought about it for a second, deciding it couldn’t hurt anything.

“Yeah, sure” I said, climbing in beside him. I felt his arms wrap around me.

“Is this uncomfortable for you?’ I heard David whisper in my ear.

“No, actually, I love it” I said, scooting in closer to him. I never felt like this with Ramair, I guess it was because he was dammed, but in a way, I guess I am too. But I live for my lord and only my lord, Noah.

I have yet to meet him, but I feel like my days are numbered.

Feeling safe and secure, I fell asleep in David’s arms.

Some time later, I woke up, seeing David staring at my face.

“What are you staring at?’ I asked him.

“Your beauty, of course!” He smiled, looking into my eyes. I have never seen eyes so beautiful; his eyes were a shade of gray that I had never seen, with a hint of blue, and a little bit of red. All vampires have red specks in their eyes though. And for once, I was the one in a trance.  I could sense some type of danger behind those beautiful eyes, but I just shrugged it off.
